Redfield Friends of the Animals The Redfield Friends of Animals Rescue group assists Redfield Animal Control in providing care, advocating for, and promoting adoption of current animals.

We are a foster based rescue that depends on donations and fosters to help our continued mission. The Redfield Friends of the Animals Rescue group is a 501(c)3 non profit organization. Our main goal is to assist the Redfield Animal Control in the adoption process of the current city pound population. Along with this, we also work to provide needed medical assistance, advocate and promote spay and

neuter education, assist in any repairs of kennels, collect and organize donations, etc. We are not a quick fix. We do not have a facility so we are a foster only based rescue. We NEED Fosters! Being a foster family will allow a dog to remain in the home setting and remain socialized. Our kennels are all outdoors and the dogs only get a short amount of time out of their small pen and with a person. This can cause rapid deterioration which leads to their becoming un-adoptable which can then lead to euthanasia. It is the goal of the RFOAR to prevent any dog from being put down. December is a month of giving and we would like to give back to an animal shelter in our area. We at South Arkansas Pet Cremations love pets, especially the ones who have been dealt a bad hand and ended up in animal shelters due to no fault of their own. At the end of December SAPC will donate $500 to a local animal shelter. Please comment on this post, the name of the local animal shelter you would like to see win the $500. We will have a drawing on December 27 to determine the winner. Each comment (made by a different person) will get that animal shelter’s name added to the drawing over and over again to increase their chance of winning. Looks who's back!!! Roscoe P. Coltrane is in the house!! This little dude is back at the shelter, after being fostered through the frigid temps. He would love a family of his own, or just a warm bed to crash in for a while. Weighing in at a whopping 15 lbs, he's only gonna take up a little bit of space.
