We are super excited to see our baby Emerald Toucanets starting to feed themselves. They are a difficult species to find let alone breed in captivity so we were truly blessed! Toucanets and Aracari make fantastic pets and do very well indoors. As with anything it’s always advisable to read up on their care and needs first. We currently have a baby male and female that are on hold for our program but if you would like more information on these fantastic birds or to be included on our wait list - feel free to message us! 💚

When they start to feed themselves it’s a messy affair but still a milestone. These beauties are reserved but I’m currently handfeeding 4 more Blue Mountain Lorikeets. 2 males and 2 females. They won’t be ready until late August but feel free to contact me via DM for more information.

I don’t normally have to
Incubate eggs and feed from day one but the weather has been so strangely cold and wet in Southern California. Best case scenario for me is everyone raises their own kids! Being a responsible breeder you have to be prepared to step in and help though. Every little life matters even if it’s feisty!
