San Bernardino County Animal Care is partnering with The PAW Mission to provide free spay and neuter services in unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County for eligible Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, and Return (TNVR) community cats and owned pets.

Qualifying pets will receive the following:
• Free spay/neuter surgery
• Free vaccinations
• Cat will be ear-tipped for TNVR identification

To qualify, the residence address must be located within the San Bernardino County Animal Care service areas. View our service area map at animalcare.sbcounty.gov to check eligibility.

San Bernardino County Animal Care contract cities and incorporated cities are not eligible. Please contact your city directly to learn about the animal care programs and veterinary services available.

This event will be held on Sunday, September 14, at Devore Animal Shelter, located at 19777 Shelter Way, Devore. Registration opens today, September 10, at 7 p.m. at thepawmission.org.

A $20 refundable deposit is required for each appointment.

🔥 Extreme heat can be dangerous—even deadly—for pets.

Know the signs of heat stroke in dogs:
🐾 Heavy panting
🐾 Bright red or grey gums
🐾 Thick saliva, vomiting, or diarrhea
🐾 Staggering or collapse
🐾 Lethargy

If their body temperature reaches 104°F and they suffer for more than 15 minutes, it can lead to seizures, organ failure, or worse.

Dogs most at risk include:
🐶 Short-nosed breeds like pugs and bulldogs
🐶 Long-haired breeds like border collies
🐶 Puppies and senior dogs (7+ years)

Keep walks short, avoid hot pavement, and never leave pets in a car.

This event will be held on August 9 at The Devore Animal Shelter. Registration opens today, August 1, at 5 p.m. at thepawmission.org.
