Redlands Humane Society We do not operate a shelter and never euthanize a healthy animal. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes until they find good adoptive homes.

Such a pretty little face! Harry is doing so well. There is no sign of infection, but intervention will need to happen with his left eye. It is a matter of timing now as we will probably want to neuter him at the same time.

Harry is not Dolly Purton’s baby. She is not a mama and does not have milk. She could move 🤷‍♂️

The third Soot Sprite, Spot, was the smallest of the group. At five weeks old he was only 1/3 pound, about half of what his siblings weighed. He has gained the most overall and he now weighs 1.8 lbs. development wise he is still very small and even still has baby blue in his eyes. He may still need a little extra time compared to Mac, but he will be there soon.

Little Pinstripe (small as a pin and, er, he has stripes🤪) is foster brother to McIntosh as part of the Soot Sprites blended litter (he was found a singleton). He continues to be behind Mac (McIntosh) but is only 2/10 back now. He is the most talkative of the litter and equally as sweet. He may need an extra week before he can be placed.

Little McIntosh, 10 weeks and only 1.9 lbs, is one of the Soot Sprites that have struggled to develop. They are doing very well now, but still delayed for their age. I am hoping they will all hit two pounds soon so I can vaccinate (yes, I waited until they are a little larger, not necessarily recommended). She will be available for adoption soon after.

Happy gotcha day to former foster Pogo! He was adopted 15!! years ago! The tans we thought he was already a senior dog with his non-typical facial features. When vets got a good look, we realized he was probably two years. Now at 17 (finally a senior) his last year has been a bit more challenging and he is slowing down some. Thanks so much to Lee and Steve for giving him such a great life!

Meet “Smokey”, he was thought to be a feral community cat near the University, but then he was semi-friendly. He was picked for TNR, but he was hand-placed into a carrier for his trip for the “snip”. He was super friendly and making biscuits for the staff @ Redlands Animal Hospital. Now neutered and chipped, FELV/FIV negative. He is also polydactyl
