This week, we want to shine the spotlight on Kelsey Padilla and her 3yr old Kira. Kelsey has been such a dedicated presence here at the barn and a pleasure to get to know. Even though Kelsey and Kira’s partnership is new, we can already see what a great team you guys are! We are so excited to watch Kelsey and Kira’s progress as we head into the new year!

Jennifer Cook has been such a valuable part of our team here at Redmond Ridge Ranch! Jenifer purchased Oskar from RRR early 2023 and it has been a pleasure watching them advance over the last two years. Jenn also has lease horse Captain she has been riding the past few months who has stolen all of our hearts! Jenn is excited to have a full season of showing next year and we can’t wait to follow along with all her progress!

Congratulations Anne on your acquisition of RRR’s beloved Canela LF! This outstanding mare has been a joy to produce in every regard. She has been a delight from the beginning and developing her resume to now has been a privilege. Canela is a wonderful representation of the PRE breed and all they should encompass. We look forward to seeing you two grow together and are excited for all the adventures that await!

Alexa Paprosky has been such a great addition to the RRR team! Alexa moved her ex jumpers Blue, Pebbles and Vox here from the East Coast back in January. She has since purchased Tintero where she is super excited to have a fun season of trail riding while continuing her dressage training! We’re excited to see what next year holds for her and her horses!

Homebred Centenario DEA (Valentino DEA x Canela LF) and Coqueta DEA stretching their legs! These two fabulous youngsters are growing fast and we are so excited to watch them mature over time. Their futures are bright!

Armas Perol II is an ANCEE registered/revised imported 2019 PRE gelding standing at 16.3 hands. He is extremely intelligent and athletic with an energizer bunny/worker bee personality. Perol has an incredible temperament on the ground and is kind and loving to handle in all regards. Perol loves to be loved on. He has no vices. This wonderful boy is a forward, sensitive ride and comes with a big engine. He is has shown training level this past season and is schooling 1st/2nd level with a natural clean lead change. This horse has a huge presence and will always get you noticed. Perol has lots of off property experience in the local mountains, rivers, and trail systems and is the same horse and a joy to ride inside and outside.

His ideal partner would be an intermediate AA or a professional looking to develop their partner into the upper levels. Perol is a one-person horse and will do and try anything his person asks, a true best friend and unicorn in the making. Easy keeper, no health history, no maintenance. RRR’s Armas Perol and Sharon Rawling’s Dakoda had a wonderful show debut at Whidbey Island Equestrian Center this last weekend. Both boys braved the torrential rain and finished the weekend with respective scores and placing in each of their classes. We could not have asked the boys to be better for their first recognized show.

Thank you to everyone at WEC for the hard work and for putting on such a well run show.

We have been thrilled to see how RRR's Valentino DEA (Armas Diestro x Jocosa de Trujillo), one of our first homebred PREs, has been maturing. He is a special horse with a bright future ahead of him and we are excited to see all he will accomplish!
