Our shelter cats are already loving their new fancy window beds and cozy cat condos!

A huge thank you to Petfinder Foundation for their generous cat enrichment grant, which made these upgrades possible. Along with these new additions, we’re excited to introduce a cat grass station (coming soon!) and many other fun activities to keep our feline friends happy and comfortable while they wait for their forever homes!

🐶 Nova is a sweet, full of curiosity, and energetic boy! Life wasn’t always easy on him so he can be a bit reserved at first but with patients and a pocket full of treats he will become your best friend. Nova loves making dog friends here at the shelter, is a professional fetch player, and loves a nice long walk or run! What Nova wants the most? Someone to show him what love truly looks like!

🐱 Coco is a sweet and seriously sassy cat! What does Coco want most? A mellow home with all attention on her with a person that she can spoil with affection!

Von has a very important question to ask you… Will you be his Valentine? 💘

Von’s ideal date involves a fun game of finding hidden treats and a quiet night in snuggled up on the couch. Have other dogs in your life? Von doesn’t mind sharing his love. Kiddos over 12? He will adore them too! To be Von’s Valentine, he just needs a little time to get to know you, and you to get to know him. Once he’s out of his shell, he will be your shadow.

If you want a Valentine who will give you endless love, come meet Von at our shelter. Our doors are open until 5:30pm tonight, and he would love to go home with his forever person.

Mama Maple has truly blossomed during her time at BrightSide! Every day, she surprises us with her silly but adorable quirks and her unexpected amount of playful energy! Maple is the sweetest little thing and would make a wonderful addition to any home (just not one with cats.. She's convinced they're plotting against her! 😉).

Happy Foster Friday: Meet Georgia! 🐾

Georgia is living her best puppy life in her foster home! Her foster family says she’s an active girl who can be a little shy at first, but once she’s comfortable, she’s full of energy and love. She’s still learning her manners, but she’s already mastered walking on a leash and would make the perfect walking or running buddy! She’s currently living with two other dogs and kids aged 3 to 16, her favorite game is fetch, and after burning off all that energy, she loves curling up on the couch under a cozy blanket for some snuggles.

Georgia is all set for her forever home so give us a call to schedule a time to meet this cutie in person and let the forever fun begin!

🐾 Boogie, is an 8-month-old Lab mix who’s full of energy and loves to play. Boogie is super social, friendly with humans and dogs too, but she’s best paired with playmates who can match her energy. If you’re ready for some fun and laughs, Boogie would be perfect for your home. **BONUS: Boogie’s adoption fee is only $75 through Friday, 1/31!**

🐾 Baby, is the ultimate sweetheart. He spent many happy years with his owner, who sadly passed away. Baby was their whole world, and now he’s looking for someone who will love him just as much. He’s social, a bit of a goofball, and guaranteed to steal your heart with his sweet, loving nature. Baby loves his humans and has lived with dogs too!
