Victoria moved to WA in May to chase her dreams in Veterinary Medicine, and we’re thrilled to have her on board. Victoria is passionate about gaining hands-on experience and making a difference for all the fluffy babies and their families. When she’s not caring for pets, she’s crafting up a storm—crocheting her own designs and enjoying fiber arts.

Thanks to the quick and caring hands of Dr. Birchmeier and her amazing team, Shalom is on the road to recovery! We’re happy to report that there were no serious injuries—just a bit of pain that’s being managed with medication and plenty of rest.💊🐶

🏥🐶🍫Sky, had quite the adventure yesterday. She got into a batch of triple chocolate brownies with chocolate chips! Thankfully, mom acted quickly and brought her to Urgent Care, where we induced vomiting. Sky's doing well now, but she definitely wasn't thrilled with the process. 🍫🐶👩‍⚕️

🐶💚We had an incredible time participating in Derby Days in Redmond! A never-ending line formed at our booth for 4 straight hours as hundreds of event-goers enjoyed our "Don't Temp Me" game! Over 500 prizes were awarded, and we loved connecting and meeting with new and familiar faces. Such an amazing, fun day!!!

💙🐶Sundays can be nuts! Little Theo came to Redmond Kirkland Urgent Care with a troublesome hotspot that required sedation and a different treatment approach. Thankfully, our PHOVIA lamp can be used on a wide variety of tender locations, and it worked wonders for Theo! Post treatment he's doing great and on the mend!🐶💚

🐶🥭 Zari, a regular on our General Practice side, had quite the adventure recently when she gobbled up an entire mango! Thankfully, her quick-thinking owner rushed her to our Urgent Care department. Dr. Birchmeier and her amazing team sprang into action and successfully induced vomiting to ensure Zari's safety.

Katie brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our team. She holds a Bachelor's in Hospitality Management, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Central Florida. Katie's professional journey has been diverse and exciting, with five years of experience working on cruise ships and her most recent role at a physical therapy office.

Katie is a proud pet parent to two adorable fur babies, both adopted from the Seattle Humane Society: Onyx, a lionhead rabbit, and Lady Whistledown, a cat named after a Bridgerton character! 🐰🐱

She is incredibly excited to learn all about cats and dogs and, of course, can't wait to give lots of pets to our four-legged friends.

🦷🐶Meet Frankenstein, the gentle giant with a tale to tell! When excessive drooling and a tender mouth raised concerns, Frankenstein wasted no time seeking help. Our dedicated team quickly discovered the culprit: a broken incisor causing discomfort and worry. But fear not, for our Urgent Care heroes sprang into action! With gentle sedation, they skillfully removed most of the broken tooth, granting Frankenstein much-needed comfort. While our team provided essential care, we also recommended a follow-up visit to his primary care doctor for additional dental care.🦷🐶

Despite those uncomfortable ears, Ares remained his curious and delightful self throughout the visit, making friends with our med team and spreading joy with every wag of his tail!🦴🐶
