The forest along the Pacific Crest Trail was something out of a book, with moss covered trees everywhere, some that were so huge they had to be 1,000 years old🌲 Where we rode was so magical, I fully expected a fairy to come flying out of the woods at any moment!!🧚♀️✨
The horses felt so good! They have such an incredible workout and feed program with Stevie💪 I have been working on them weekly with my @pulsepemf EQX1 machine, recharging them and BOY can you feel it!! They are SO ready for Tevis!!💪🏆
Alexander Hamilton was 80% Alex, 20% Cocaine Bear🐻 so... Progress!! With so much fuel left in the tank for each of the horses, this is proving to be another excellent season in endurance for the herd!
Despite riding since I was a child, my riding game changed an immense amount after attending a clinic with Stevie and being instructed on trail by her! I'm much more secure in my seat, and it seriously helped me through Tevis! She is a wealth of knowledge, with a teaching style that will make you feel empowered; she is thoughtful and kind in her delivery, with a very effective approach to training and centered riding! Rogue the White German Shepherd asked for PEMF and laid down on the mat herself, finding lots of releases in her hips and spine through the session! 🐕🦺

A BEAUTIFUL lesson that I've learned again and again through my incredible clients, who've also become great friends💓🐎
I understand that my way is not necessarily THE way when it comes to riding and being with horses 🐎
We tend to look at horses and believe that if they aren't busy working, if they aren't "performing" a job, they certainly couldn't be happy, emotionally healthy, and confident.
Sometimes it's assumed that they must lose their sense of self and being when not working with us; without a call to duty in our world, they simply aren't a whole, complete horse.
Please don't misunderstand my meaning when I say this, because I also DO BELIEVE that horses who have jobs are very much healthy, strong individuals who find meaning in what they do alongside their human being counterparts! And they achieve INCREDIBLE things together with their human partners 💓
After all, when we become a herd with our horses, isn't this when we are living in harmony with one another?
"Jobs" for horses come in so many forms; the emotional job being the biggest kind of all. Fulfilling this role, this emotional "job" is by far the biggest job a horse will ever have.
Looking at other human to horse relationships with a feeling of respect, wonder, and most of all, curiosity, it can bring an INCREDIBLE amount of understanding.
It's in these moments that I've gained the most wealth about the true inner workings of horses, why they're here with us, accessing their healing power, and being in true heart connection with us fallible humans🩵
