We don't expect fireworks on Memorial Day. There are always a few and unlike on the 4th of July when we have the pets ready for them on Memorial Day Weekend a few errant fireworks can send our pets running for the hills or hiding in the house to the point we can't find them. So, here is a reminder and some tips on how to deal with random fireworks this weekend.

The Fourth of July may still be several days away, but fireworks have been rattling cities across the country for weeks. Chicago, for example, has recently reported a 700% jump in firework complaints this year compared to 2019; in Boston, that number is 2,300%.
