Hi Everyone,
We remain on Facebook only because taking our page down would signal to some we are not operating as a business. We do not promote, interact or communicate with this platform.
While the business of FB is extremely profitable the business practice is MORALLY BANKRUPT. While many of the workers at FB are fine people the leadership, particularly Mark Zuckerberg are bad actors. Poisoning our society and the body politic in search of profit is no different then the Sackler family who profited from Oxycontin addicts. Please look for us on platforms such as Twitter and FlickR for posts and updates.
PLEASE DELETE FACEBOOK SO BUSINESSES AREN'T FORCED TO REMAIN HERE BECAUSE OF IT'S MONOPOLY.

Happy New Year everyone!

This will be Planet Pooch’s final Facebook post.

We have come to the conclusion that Facebook is an unethical company and we can not continue to participate. We accepted the breach in privacy. We accept that Facebook trades on our personal information.
Our decision came when Mark Zuckerberg decided to allow lies and propaganda to be disseminated through paid political advertising

With the dubious reasoning that “tech companies should’t decide what is political speech allowed and what isn’t” Facebook has permitted provable lies to be marketed as truth.

It isn’t free speech if the recipient is sequestered and doesn’t have access to the truth. Information designed to fool uninformed and isolated citizens is propaganda and harmful to a democracy.

Facebook purports to exist to bring people together. In reality, Facebook has created more division than any other entity in media.

It sour belief that Facebook will continue this practice until enough of us abandon the platform and Mark Zuckerberg loses money and/or power. We strongly recommend that you also will decide to stop using Facebook and send them a signal that our democracy is more important than an app that is used to divide us. We are providing links to posts that have more information.

We still plan on sharing pictures and videos on Twitter. Starting in the new year, we will be sharing more often there. on Twitter
