Greetings from Whis-Purr Rescue. This is a courtesy post on behalf of a very precious Tri-pod.

His name is Tiger and here is his story...
Hi, my name is Tiger, I am a SWEET, CURIOUS, PLAYFUL & HEALTHY kitty. I am also a TRI-POD, but despite missing my front left leg, I am very FAST, very MINDFUL to cover up my litter business, and I can JUMP up on beds, cat trees, even windowsills! I don't let my handicap slow me down, but I am easily overlooked because folks assume I need special care. When my human mommy died, I ended up being lost in the neighborhood, until I made myself at home with a young lady who unfortunately moved and has been trying really hard to find me a warm and comfy permanent home (or foster while we find me a home). I am around 7 years old, but you would not know it. Because I have been bullied before by adult cats, I would really prefer to be your only kitty. Dogs and children are okay though. I come with my own toys, bed, litterbox, and a 2-month's supply of my food, both wet and dry.

Meet Mama Mocha and the coffee babies!

Mama Mocha was found in a bush with her babies who were only days old. Since then, this little family has blossomed!

Peet is the only boy and is a major love bug. He purrs constantly and always wants lots of pets and to play.

Star is very confident and definitely the star of the show. She needs to know what is going on all the time and is very curious.

Java is laid-back and always finds the comfiest spot to lounge. She is a lap kitty and never leaves a lap empty.

Espresso is a quiet soul who loves to be pet. She is also obsessed with Churu. Espresso is a little shy, but easily comes around when there is Churu.

Latté is the smallest and shyest of the litter, but you wouldn’t guess it by how she plays! Latté loves wand toys and is the best hunter around.

Mocha is a stunning Siamese kitty with enchanting eyes. Mocha is still adapting to her new indoor lifestyle. She is scared and cautious and therefore, spends much of her time hiding. But now and again, she shows glimmers of confidence. Mocha needs to find her special someone to give her specialized attention to help her open up.

Hey Everyone! We wanted to share some other very special kitties with you. They are sweet cuddlebugs waiting to find a new home, this time FOREVER! These two precious babies came back to Whis-Purr after 4 years... to no fault of their own. Their family had some sort of life event and could not manage to keep them.

Rocky and Ruby are purrfect! They both like to talk and be with you. Really quite fun as you get to know them 🥰

✨AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION✨ Naomi

Please meet Naomi. We really do not know how old she is. Most likely somewhere between 6 and 10 years old. Naomi was rescued from a construction site in San Jose. A construction worker found her there eating ramen off the ground. She was super friendly and came right over to him. The good Samaritan brought her to us that day. Everyone at the rescue fell in love with Naomi and one of our volunteers adopted her. We question her age because she is super playful and energetic, yet she does have the beginning stages of kidney disease. For this reason, Whis-Purr Rescue has been providing for her medical and will continue.

You are probably wondering why we are speaking of Naomi now that she has a home? Our Volunteer passed away about a month ago and her dear friend brought Naomi to her home until she could find a more permanent home with her very own new family. Naomi is doing great in her current home, but it is becoming more critical that she finds a new home.

We are hoping that there is some special family out there that can offer her a new place she could call her own. Naomi is quite sweet and loves everyone. We think that she would be happier not having to share space with another cat. Please reach out to us if you would like to meet her.

Greetings from Whis-Purr Rescue!

We are Linus, Lollipop, Licorice and Lucky. Our Mama was adopted and went to her new family, and... here we are! 4 kittens, 6 months old! We are the best age for kids and their families! We just do not know why we have not found our homes yet, but we know it will happen. Whoever does choose us, will be so happy they did. We are the sweetest and most fun!

We love to play with all of our toys and we like to race each other up the cat trees. (It is still a debate on who is the fastest!) Even though we are mischievous, we have an affectionate side as well. We are all quite purr-y and want to be by you. No need to find us hiding in our cage at Whis-Purr.... We are not shy! We will run to greet you. All of us have so much fun and are hoping we can play with you soon! Also... We LOVE Treats!
