Today we are celebrating 6 years of Kelsey! 💛🐾
Kelsey joined our team six years ago and quickly grew into our Dog Foster Coordinator. Kelsey does it all, she fosters, volunteers, adopts and believes in our mission. You can find her onsite every weekend ready to help YOU find your next foster. Kelsey believes in the power of learning, she is self motivated and actively pursues education opportunities. Kelsey has completed multiple courses on fostering and animal care through Maddies University in an effort to build her skill set. She can handle our rambunctious adult dogs and has the gentle touch to raise our most delicate bottle babies. She even added tube feeding to her resume, because saving lives is what she believes in!
When Kelsey is not onsite, she is working hard behind the scene on social media, data entry and support for the many dogs we have safely tucked away in foster homes. But that’s not all, she has a full house of rescue animals and is simultaneously raising her own kiddos and the next generation of animal lovers in Malcolm and Kingsley. Thank you to her hubby Marques who lets us borrow this versatile mama!
We are so lucky to have Kelsey on our team and enjoy all the love she shares with our people and pets. Will you join us in celebrating Kelsey and her many contributions to HSIMC! ♥️🐾

This was a tough choice for the family, they have so much love for her but we’re just unable to care for her any longer.
She is a senior girl who would love to get right back into an adoptive or foster home asap!

This week is a wrap! And we are excited because starting first thing next week we have an adoption special til Dec 22! We hope to many dogs and cats find their families in time for Christmas! Our FeLV Cottage is officially full with three new residents! Lisa (tabby), Maple (orange/white), Juniper (calico) are ready to meet adopters and go home with you!
Don’t forget FeLV adoption fees are waived and if you are looking for indoor only cats, these kids are perfect for you!
