Shedhorn Catahoulas We are a small kennel that originated in the backwoods of Seeley Lake, MT. Now in Reed Point, MT, we breed for quality working, family and hunting dogs.

NALC registered. As of 2021, all our pups are registered as non breeding only unless asked otherwise.

Puppies are sure getting big!! They just got moved to the bigger whelping area and are all doing fantastic! We have three males (R***r, Taser & Sig) and 2 females (Primer & Kimber). We do have a wait list so these babies will most likely all be spoken for once picks are decided. Also sorry for being so slow about posting their cuteness!! This time of year is SO BUSY around here 🤪

You guys remember Roy (now known as Riggs) from Echo x Ropers July 2024 litter? He is fresh out of decoy dog training and look at him bringing in those coyotes!! Sure looks fun and what a rush! The minds and willingness of these dogs to work for you never ceases to amaze me. Thanks so much Dane for keeping me posted on his progress. Looking forward to seeing more from you guys!

How fun to get two updates in just two days from past buyers! This is Rhett. He is also out of Roper x Echo’s litter last year. Boy does he ever look like his daddy! Sometimes life happens and our plans don’t go the way we hope. We found a perfect stud for Eden but then a bunch of snow decided to show up the weekend she was ready to be bred. Considering hes over 11 hours away (with good roads) and with all the snow and cold, as well as road closures on the interstates we decided it wasn’t worth getting stuck somewhere. So we will just let it happen next heat instead. For now here’s some pictures of some of the dogs today. It finally got above zero so we got to go burn off some energy. I’m also going to be sending out a little message to all depositors on my breeding plans going forward. Stay warm friends 🐾!!

I have had several people ask me how they do in the snow. They love the snow! When it’s too cold outside they get mad when I leave them inside to do chores 🤣 BUT like me they love their fire 🥰.
