Our sweet Poppy girl has gone home with her new mom and big sister! She went from a growling fearful little pup to picking out her new mom all by herself! She grew leaps and bounds over the last month! We will miss her in the office so much but we are so happy that she has gone to her new home 🥰🐶

Josh, who is now known as Wheeler, just left the building!! Sedona Schrunk we couldn't be happier about this adoption! You two are a perfect fit and you're going to have so many adventures together!! Congratulations and Happy Holidays to you both!! 🥰🐶

Jim and JoAnna Daughtery brought some sticks and balls for the dogs yesterday in remembrance of their dog. The dogs are enjoying them while being stuck inside this morning because it's so cold. Also Poppy with the little ball you gave her 🥰 she's been playing with it since you gave it to her. 🥰🐶 Thank you so much for thinking of us!!

💔 Hutch Needs Us Now More Than Ever 💔

Many of you remember Hutch, the sweet boy who went missing for months before we finally found him. When he came back to us, he was underweight, scared, and unsure of the world, but little by little, he started to trust again. He’s been blossoming into the loving, goofy dog he truly is… finally feeling like himself after everything he survived.

But now, Hutch needs our help again.
He’s been limping since he returned, and after further evaluation, we’ve learned he was likely hit by a car during the time he was missing. He now needs surgery to repair the damage, surgery that is critical for his comfort, mobility, and future.

This sweet boy has already overcome so much. Getting him healthy is the last thing standing between Hutch and the loving forever home he deserves.

We’ll be sharing the estimate below so everyone can see exactly what we’re facing. As a no-kill shelter that receives no state or local funding, every medical case is made possible solely through the kindness of our community.
