We take animals from Stone and Taney County Missouri and find forever homes for them. Please note that this page is run by volunteers, if you have questions about specific animals please call the shelter during regular business hours.

Some of our dogs have come back more than once and that causes so much stress on their little nervous systems. The sooner we all learn that animals have a psyche too, the sooner we think twice before how we treat them.

On another note, this is why fosters are so important for a shelter to learn how they behave in a home versus the shelter. It really helps us to know how to label them in their profiles and also what we need to work on while we have them in the shelter. It truly becomes a life saving experience for them! ❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹

JUST IN!! Last seen at the corner of Pine top and JJ highway in South Hollister.

Hutch escaped his newly adopted dad and we need help finding him. It happened in Taney County (will update with location once we hear from new owner). Hutch is a boxer mix around 40ish pounds. If anyone has seen him please contact the shelter with the area you had seen him in! Thank you!

Update - we have an experienced foster with a nursing mother on the way to come get them. Three survived the night. 🙏UR...

URGENT!!! We have 4 puppies in desperate need of a foster family. They are maybe a day old. The mom and 3 other puppies were found dead. If anyone can help and has newborn experience we would be appreciative of your help.
