🖤Noah Adoption Reminder - We don't want to return our $900 grant!!🖤

One of our favorite Senior Citizens, Noah, still needs a home. This nine year old boy lost his sister sally while at the shelter, so now he's all alone and has been with us since December 2021 😢

😿Please help! We have TONS of barn cats that are seeking employment. They have all been fixed, vaccinated, and have decided that the unemployed life just isn't for them! Many of these kitties are very stressed being stuck in a cage. Some are on the sweet and shy side, and some are just hot and spicy. These spicy little ones will likely need a lot of personal space.

In an effort to Clear the Shelters, these pre-selected barn cats are $25! All you have to do is provide them with food, a home (barn, garage, or warehouse will do), and long term vet care. In return, these cats will keep your property free of rodents, AND since they're already fixed, they won't contribute to cat over-population!

🤍🩶Meet Teddy and Yogi! 🤍🩶

These two little ole' cotton balls need a home badly. They have been with is too long after we helped heal some wounds Teddy came in with.

They're very laid-back 14 year old boys who will follow you even without a leash. They both love fluffy dog beds, cuddling with people, or smelling everything and anything during their walks along the trail. They aren't fast little dogs, but always have a happy skip to their step.
Yogi is the most playful and Teddy is happy as long as he's with Yogi, he'll follow his brother anywhere. These two are a bonded pair and can only be adopted together.

Since they are bonded pair, and in honor of Clear the Shelters, their adoption fee is reduced from $125/each to $150 for the pair.

Please come give them that fluffy bed they deserve during their golden years!

💲💚DOUBLE YOUR DOLLARS! 💚💲

Donations are still being doubled for Clear the Shelters kick off week! We are thankful for the four donations we have received, but are hoping for a few more!

Every dollar helps us so much. The dog food we buy went up by $3 a bag in the last two weeks 😔 This is true for medical supplies too.

Even if you can't donate, sharing helps too! Or come by and volunteer, we have puppies and kitties who need a little love 🥰

🆘Advice Needed 🆘

What's the best way to cool down black asphalt to help our pups paws?

All we can think is to paint a striped path of a lighter color. Are there any other ideas??

We have black asphalt between our shelter building and the dog walking trail/play yards. We know that ground gets HOT as the summer arrives in full force. We typically just jog the dogs quickly to the grass. But does anyone know the best way to cool it down?

Please let us know if there is something we may not be thinking of!

We have partnered with NBCUniversal and Hill’s Pet Nutrition for a nationwide campaign to Clear the Shelters‼️ This year, Clear the Shelters is a month-long event from August 10th – September 10th!

It's been picked up! 🥰

📢 Help Needed! 📢

We we'd like to ask for a hand hauling an entertainment center to the dump that was left behind our Thrift Store. Or if someone would like come and get it for yourself, that's great too! If anyone has a truck and some time to spare, we’d sure would appreciate the help!

Also, a quick reminder that due to our limited space, we cannot accept furniture donations and we ask no donations be left outside the store while we are closed for this exact reason. It may now cost us money to have removed 😔

🖤 Meet Odessa 🖤

This pretty girl is currently in foster care and needs a home soon.

She is a bright eyed, sweet heart who has lots of energy, but is very calm inside the house. Odessa is house broken, easy to handle, and picks up commands easily. She understands basic household rules (not on furniture, not barking, begging or chewing).

She's inquisitive and likes to move outdoors so she needs a fence or leashed walk (at least to start). She loves stuffed animals and your socks. Please call the TLHS about Odessa if you would like to meet her.

🐾 Please Don’t Abandon Puppies! 🐾

We had a scary situation Tuesday. Four little puppies were thrown OVER our fence while we were closed. Luckily, they’re okay, but they could’ve been hurt really bad. We are so thankful there were no broken legs, or worse...

We understand that people might feel desperate, but this is super dangerous for the animals. If you need to surrender a pet, please do it safely. We know many shelter's are full, but this isn't the right way. Contact all local shelters and post to rescue groups online to see if anyone can offer their support.

We are already overextended with our funds, and could desperately use some supplies if anyone is able to donate. We have created a Wal-Mart Wish List, which is linked in the comments. We will also link the Amazon wish list, but keep in mind a lot of the food is cheaper from Wal-Mart. If you have the means to help us in any capacity, we would be so thankful 🥰
