Just an update for everyone on how Mike is doing...
We get his ammonia levels rechecked this week so I'm really hoping they have gone down ....
On a positive note I've noticed in the last week he has started getting his sense of humor back 😄...
He has definitely said some pretty funny stuff that actually made sense lol....
He has started physical therapy again and they are working on getting him stronger which they say will improve his balance....
Still working on the speech therapy, I've made lots of phone calls thanks to everyone's suggestions but still nothing set in stone yet... any other ideas you guys have please feel free to let me know...
A very good friend of mine told me to stop expecting everything to be back to normal because we don't know if it ever will be and learn to embrace the new normal ( those are my words of course) but it really hit home...
So I have been trying very hard to not get frustrated with the what I feel is slow progress and embrace the life we do have... convincing him to do the same is a whole other issue ♥️
I'm still asking for PRAYERS please....
I pray that his brain will continue to heal and he will be able to start doing the things he enjoys again...
I also pray that we will get to a point where he can be home by himself without him making terrible choices 🙄...
In the meantime Raylee (our great Pyrenees) will continue to take good care him even if it does mean she takes up the whole bed and there's no room for me 😁

ATTENTION PLEASE SHARE!!!! This is Ziva she is about 1-1 1/2 years old mix about 30pds. So sweet I do think with proper introduction she could be ok with another dog she is the sweetest baby and starving for someone to love her like she deserves. She has not had a lot of training really hasn’t had a lot of anything. We are desperately trying to find her a home before it gets to cold as she is been living in a back yard. Definitely someone who can work with her. I hope someone out there sees her pictures and falls in love with her and takes her home she is good with kids. Please everyone let’s share this and try to find this sweet girl a home. She is still not fixed and most likely not UTD on shots.
