We had successful Pack Walks in Reedsburg on Wednesday and Baraboo on Friday. As a Ruff Pups client, you can join this trial group session, which meets twice weekly with no long-term commitment. The session is billed at our standard hourly rate, with no extra charges for multiple dogs or travel. I am excited to introduce Pack Walk, a group session initiative for Ruff Pups clients who have already completed their first two sessions with me. These sessions will build on the avoidance techniques, control words, and foundational skills learned earlier. Pack Walk will take place in Reedsburg on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm and in Baraboo from 10:30am-1pm. This pilot program will allow us to assess the effectiveness of the format. As of now, Friday's session has reached half capacity. The pricing will be my standard hourly rate, without any mileage fees. When reaching out to Ruff Pups, please note that I am a certified professional K9 trainer and behavior specialist with nearly 12 years of experience. My specialty is helping dogs overcome anxiety, aggression, socialization, and resocialization issues. I developed my expertise through hands-on training at a physical dog trainers' school, rather than online. I have kept my rates low, with only a slight increase this year, to remain accessible. To ensure success, it's crucial to follow my process, as I help dogs overcome deeply ingrained patterns. I accommodate various scheduling preferences, including month-to-month, every few months, and biweekly sessions, but discourage weekly sessions to maximize progress. This was early February, a session for my sweetheart Sylvie! We have had a lot of time together one-on-one through Visiting Paws, as well as mixed sessions. I find that when available, it's an amazing option for transforming a dog and strengthening their abilities to function in a settled manner, helping dogs and their humans use the toolbelt to understand behavioral patterns and mold a well-adjusted pup! Her owner is doing a fabulous job with some great practice and exposure, moving mountains for an anxious dog!

This was February, yes a little late, but I had gotten so consumed with writing up group class schedules when I wasn't working. I know people are curious about what happened and when there will be Ruff Pups classes! I have been trying to secure a place, but since things fell through, I have been in contact with a few locations that were rented out days and even most recently, hours before I reached out! I am sure my turn will be soon! I need an indoor location, preferably easily accessible to grass for obvious reasons! Beyond that, let's appreciate Baileys session with exciting family members visiting! We practiced appropriate avoidance techniques as well as distraction techniques and positioning. We build up confidence appropriately with each situation, and it is different from dog to dog. Please do not attempt my techniques without direction from a certified professional. I do this as my job for a reason! 💜🐾
