OddArticulations

OddArticulations OddArticulations, LLC is a small oddities business specialized in skeletal articulations. We also offer pet processing services.

OddArticulations, LLC is proud to be able to offer a wide variety of products and services to our customers. We have partnered with leaders in the fields of taxidermy, articulation, tanning, molding/casting, 3D printing, and other arts to accomplish almost any biological preservation you may be looking for. We specialized in skeletal articulation and pet processing, but are able to outsource for a

variety of other services if requested. OddArticulations, LLC started on Instagram on September 27, 2015. I had been articulating a few months prior to then, but that was the date that I decided to share with the world what I like to do. If you would like to read the full story of how I first got started in this hobby, you can go read my 'About' page on our website. If you have any questions, whether it be about bone processing, pet processing, or if you're interested in an articulation (I usually have a bunch of skeletons waiting to be put together, send me a message and see what I have available!) Please feel free to send me a PM or an email, I try to respond as quickly as possible.

This is Little Bear the munchkin cat. Little Bear’s mom () sent her to us to memorialize her via skeletal articulating, collecting her whiskers, taking ink paw and nose prints, and wet preserving her heart. Munchkin cats have short limbs, rounded scapulae, short ribs, but an otherwise similar sized body (and skull) to a normal cat. I included a comparison in the second pic

Colugos, also known as flying lemurs, are strange gliding mammals from Southeast Asia, which really aren’t closely related to any other modern animal. They’re larger than they look, with a width of about 2 feet when gliding between trees

Male tayra! Tayras are basically big buff tree-climbing ferrets native to South America. They’re not a very well known animal, but I think they are super cool. What’s a cool animal that you know of that you think many people haven’t heard of?

Here’s one you don’t see every day! This is a male pale-throated 3-toed sloth we cleaned and articulated. This species is incredibly rare, with many museums not even having a specimen. 3-toed sloths are one of the only mammals that do not always have 7 cervical vertebrae, with usually 9 or 10 instead

Our Story

OddArticulations is a one-manned oddities business/hobby. I enjoy articulating skeletons of all kinds in poses that aren't exactly the traditional articulation poses. I strive to achieve more difficult and complex poses, not just normal boring sitting or standing. Action poses are my personal favorite. I try my best to articulate in such a way that it appears as though you have taken an x-ray of the animal in the desired pose. I don't want my articulations to just look like a bunch of bones glued and wired together. OddArticulations started on Instagram on September 27, 2015. I had been articulating a few months prior to then, but that was the date that I decided to share with the world what I like to do. If you would like to read the full story of how I first got started in this hobby, you can read more at www.oddarticulations.com/about If you have any questions, whether it be about bone processing, pet processing, or if you're interested in an articulation (I usually have a bunch of skeletons waiting to be put together, send me a message and see what I have available!) Please feel free visit my blog to learn how to process bones at www.oddarticulations.com/blog or my Inquires page for a price quote at www.oddarticulations.com/inquires
