He’s cute, but now he’s getting the boot….

After a few days it safe to say that Santa’s Helper has overstayed his welcome at his current foster home. He is a little too much puppy, and overwhelmingly playful for their lifestyle. It is evident that this boy has never been able to call any house a home so everything is fun, new and exciting to him. He loves toys, other pups, doing zoomies, hanging in the backyard, going for walks and just being a puppy. Santa’s Helper will need a little help of his own with mastering manners and conquering those pesky puppy skills. Middletown NY help!

Lord is a 1yr old basset hound mix, his short legs and stubby tail make him very unique. Lord is a little nervous when he initially meets you but comes around quickly once he feels your energy.
Lord loves other dogs and can be cat tested if necessary. Lord is hoping to be in his forever home for the holidays. Lord is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and 4dx tested. He us currently on heartworm and F&T prevention.

FOUND 11/8/24, Copiague, case #24-429, male, contact Babylon Animal Shelter to identify/claim, 631-643-9270. If you are interested in adopting, you can come to the shelter, meet the dog, and then put in an adoption application. Up to 5 applications will be taken. Our strays are held 5 days by law and then they will get an exam, Heartworm test, microchip, and spay/neuter, and other medical procedures. Only once that is complete can they be picked up for adoption. You can expect it to take 1-3 weeks before a dog is ready for adoption.
