Meet Douglas, Seekonk’s newest resident. Douglas is a pint size pit mix whose favorite place is on your lap. I had a hard time taking pics because he kept trying to climb in my lap. He is one of the loviest, snuggliest dogs. Everyone at Seekonk has fallen in love with him. His perfect home would be with kids 8 and up because Doug is a sensitive soul and will roll over and show his belly if he gets nervous. At the start of our Separation Anxiety Home Alone Program, Samson began exhibiting stress as soon as his parents started getting ready to leave. The instant they walked out their door, Samson would start pacing back and forth to all the windows while barking and crying. During this reassessment he spent the entire time relaxing and sleeping while his parents were gone for little over and hour. Way to go Samson and to his extremely dedicated mom and dad!
