The Owings Mills New Town Center Association Doggie Paddle swim is right around the corner on Monday, September 9th!
Join us at Middle Mill Social Pool (9700 Middle Mill Drive, Owings Mills, MD) from 5 pm – 7:30 pm. Your dog can enjoy a nice refreshing swim with other canine pals. Tickets are $15 at the door, and 100% of the proceeds go back to the animals at BHS.
In case of inclement weather, please note that the rain date for the event is scheduled for Tuesday, September 10th.

Dolly is a sweet two-year-old pup who recently had a fun sleepover with a foster family, and here's what they had to say about this adorable girl:
"We had the privilege to foster this cutie named Dolly last week. Check out those ears. 😍 She walks great on a leash, doesn't shed, doesn't bark, doesn't beg from the table. She loves to snuggle, loves people, walks up and down the stairs great, and she's wonderful in the car. We think she'd benefit from a fenced in yard."

Meet our September's Volunteers of the Month- Shawn & Madison!
Shawn and Madison, an incredible father daughter duo, have been invaluable volunteers for BHS, helping with multiple event flyers and transports. Their reliability and dedication is truly amazing.
In the short time they've been with us, they keep on "raising their hands" to do more. These two are a force and a pleasure to talk to. Shawn made a detailed list of each place he hung a flyer, even going to places that weren't on our lists. He's so organized and goes above and beyond!
Here is what Shawn has to say about volunteering at BHS:
"I absolutely have enjoyed my time volunteering at BHS over the past few months. I love being able to meet new people out at the events and getting to volunteer with individuals who have the same love for animals as I do. Every little bit of help matters a ton whether you believe it or not ,and I am glad that I have been able to do my part to keep the wheels turning forward. I couldn’t ask for a better place to spend my free time!"
