"Time doesn't “fix” grief; it creates space for you to process and integrate it. You're not broken, and your journey isn't wrong. Grief is love expressing itself in the face of loss, and it deserves to be witnessed—not rushed.

Your grief is not a problem to solve; it's an experience to honor."

Did you know that all of our Baltimore Humane Society Memorial Park pet-loss services such as cremation and funerals at our pet cemetery are available as pre-need? That means you can pay a small deposit and make payments over time if you plan ahead.

We also partner with Afterpay so if you find yourself in need that you did not anticipate, you can still pay for your pet's final goodbye in equal installments instead of all at once up front.

We have been serving the Baltimore area for nearly 100 years. We know pets are family. 💙

A BIG "thank you!" to the talented volunteers at Brightview Senior Living Towson and Westminster Ridge residences. They have taken on our huge Lake Lure Rainbow Bridge project (https://bmorehumane.org/lakelurerainbowbridge/) and are just knocking it out of the park with their creativity. Thank you all so much!

Our staff (with the help of adoptable dog Taco) are outside working their artistic magic on the river rocks for our “Restoring Memories” project.
We are also working with some incredibly talented volunteers from Brightview Senior Living and a classroom of young artists.

We are so excited for this project.

With nearly 600 requests as of this week, we could definitely use more river rocks!

Glyndon Gardens was kind enough to offer us special pricing. If anyone would like to donate rocks to our project, please email me at [email protected]
