Association for Animal Rights, Inc. We are a certified 501-c3 non-profit no kill animal shelter. Please visit us during business hours. We take in your sick, your lonely, dying and birthing.

We rescue abandoned, abused, stray and neglected cats, dogs, kittens and puppies. All of these animals stay at our shelter until they are adopted. We provide them with the utmost medical care as well as spaying and neutering those animals of an appropriate age (4-6 months and older). We require that all adopters of baby animals sign a contract stating they will have their animals spayed or neutere

d when they are at the proper age. We give them the care we would give our very own, and we look for families who are equally dedicated to the life-long commitment of caring for an animal. We promote education on the benefits of spaying and neutering, proper ways to handle your cat or dog, and why regular vet visits are important. We try to control the population of stray and feral cats one litter at a time. We thank our community for reaching out to us and to our adopters for choosing an animal that needs their love.

Dearest Friends,
With your help, these are just a few of the sweet babies from 2024 that are now living their best lives in furever homes.
In addition to all of the adoptions from our rescue (which involves medical care, behavior work, and addressing daily needs for the animals), we
💝 Helped many cats, several dogs, and yes, even a pet rat that was abandoned at our rescue, find safe placement
💝 Supported pet owners with various needs so that beloved pets could stay in loving homes
💝 Continued TNR work to help mitigate overpopulation

We are deeply thankful to our rockstar foster families, volunteers, donors, and community supporters - all of this is possible only because of you.
For every measure of time that you have shared, for the money and resources you have given, for your engagement with our social media, and for your love of our animals, we thank you.
