Great day to be hunting in South Dakota. I spent most of my fall chasing grouse, today was the most I’ve ever seen in such a short amount of time. Annie had 3 grouse, Indy had 3 roosters.

I don’t normally shoot rabbits but this one got too close. I’ve been noticing a lot more jackrabbits this past season in areas I don’t normally see them.

This was my first season shooting an over under. Not only was it lighter & easier to carry but I took better shots. Only having two shells definitely forced me to take better quality shots. Which in return got me better dog work this season.

This season I shot a Beretta Silver Pigeon. I used 5 shot early in the year & 3 shot late in the season.
