Orion and Clairvoyant came into Options Veterinary Care after they were trapped by a community cat caregiver for TNR. They were very small and too young to be spayed and neutered, plus, they were diagnosed with a congenital condition called Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH), a neurological disorder that affects a cat's coordination and balance. They can still have a wonderful life but cannot be released back outside, so now, our team is caring for them until they are ready for adoption. Will you help us do that by donating to cover their cost of care? Your support will make a big difference!

Sweet, young Marmalade is available for adoption! ❤ Email [email protected] to meet him or find out more!
Marmalade was found in a Winco parking lot. He's a bit shy at first, but a calm, quiet home and a patient person help him relax - as his foster family has discovered! He's neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and all he's missing is love! Will you help us find that for him? ❤😻
It’s a happy holiday tail for Blitzen! From scared and shy to sweet and affectionate, she is getting the best holiday gift—a home! 😺❤️

Chili and Butternut
Our Heartwarming Save #5... Chili and Butternut ❤️
Chili and Butternut had been at Washoe County Regional Animal Services for a couple weeks, and no other organization had space for them. They had a common and completely treatable skin fungus, ringworm (same as athlete’s foot in humans). Options Veterinary Care and our wonderful volunteers stepped up to save their lives.
The siblings were transferred to Options nonprofit clinic, and we quickly put out a plea for help. They needed a foster home with their own private space where they would receive treatment until they recovered and were ready to be adopted into loving homes.
Last week, they were given the all-clear—Chili and Butternut are 100% healthy! This week these adorable brothers will be neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and adopted just in time for the holidays. To keep the kittens entertained and to help make them even more adoptable, their foster mom taught them how to give high fives and sit!
Options created a foster care program this year to save the lives of some of the most vulnerable animals in our community. We are stepping in to fill a void in our community so that precious lives are not lost.
The challenge? It’s not without a cost. We provide all of the medical care for foster pets, including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and microchips. Options staff work hard to care for them and find foster and adoptive homes. We can only do this with your support. We are so thankful to you and glad we can celebrate the good work together this holiday season. It takes a village, and YOU are part of the village for pets in need when you donate to Options.
If you want to get involved, here are a few things you can do to help:

We LOVE this! ❤️ This is one of the kittens who needed foster care last week. In a matter of days, she went from scared to this. Do you see how important (and easy) socialization is? And how rewarding it is? This calico hasn't even been in foster care for a week, and her foster family says "She’s coming out of her shell sooooo much and is an absolute love bug!" ❤️ We are so thankful for fosters! P.S. We still need more fosters, so email [email protected] to get involved!
