“Hattie” is fancy small junior/AO hunter prospect that will also make up to be a nice derby horse. Super easy point and shoot type, auto changes, huge stride. Always gets a piece of the hack, nice expressions, always jumps a 10 no matter the distance, judges LOVE her! She has a very kind character, having packed around an older amateur lady in the 2’-2’3” the past few months at venues such as Thermal, Sacramento, and Sonoma, always winning Champion or Reserve Champion. She is currently showing in the 3’ Greens and easily schooling 3’3 at home with scope for more. Barn favorite with her gentle, snuggly personality! Call Sierra (310) 882-9613 to set up a trial.

Halloween came early! 👻🎃🕸️ We had flying pumpkins, giraffes, black eyed peas, cowgirls and cows, witches, and even Ace Ventura! Maybe we shouldn’t have scheduled our party the day of the homecoming dance so the teenagers could come, but it was still good turnout! Cassidy the cowgirl won best costume with her cute cow 💜

Extremely late post, but missing Del Mar! Such a good show to gain some experience for my third time in FEI competition with some really technical courses and talented riders. Definitely some learning moments for me, but Taki was perfect as always. Kid was incredible in the 1.20 and 1.25 classic, not touching a rail all week, but his rider is a 🐢 Sale horse Hattie was awesome in the 3’ greens and for her very first derby, scoring an 83 in the Hunt portion. Thanks to Kost for being such a supportive coach and teaching me so much!

If you know me, you know this year has been a really tough one for me mentally inside and outside the sport. Been asked why I’ve been moving Kid back up in height so slowly, and it’s because I’ve been struggling with my confidence majorly this year, but I feel like I got it back this show. Progress isn’t linear and sometimes it feels like you’re on a downward trajectory, but I’ve learned you just have to keep putting in the work and be really patient and celebrate the really small wins, even if they seem insignificant. Super appreciative of my team for always being there for me 💜

“QT” is a recently imported gelding with an extensive 1.45m FEI record in Europe. Ready to pack around a jr/am in the 1.20/1.30m successfully or continue developing into a horse for the bigger tracks. He could also make up to be a nice big eq/USET horse. He is extremely brave and takes a major joke, jumps the open water, always gets to the other side. Has been shown in the 1.20m, as well as the 3’3 and 3’6 equitation at Thermal, Sacramento, and Sonoma with great results. Lovely to ride on the flat and has a smooth, soft jump that will give anyone confidence.

We are less than two weeks away from our 3 day SNHSA/USHJA Outreach Horse Show featuring a $500 Hunter Derby and $500 Mini Prix on Sunday! Winners of each will receive a custom Horseplay cooler, as well as a free stall at any Sonoma Horse Park show in the 2025 season. Reserve Champions will be awarded a custom Horseplay saddle pad. Fill out the special declaration for points to count towards SNHSA end of year points. We are excited to see all of you!
