🌟 Celebrating Leo’s Bravery! 🌟
Day Camp during the holidays comes with… let’s call them unique challenges. 😅🎅
One minute it’s Santa Claus in an outhouse, the next it’s a parade of holiday photo ops, sparkly décor, and dogs wearing costumes they definitely did not sign off on.
But behind the scenes, we put a lot of thoughtful work into helping every camper feel safe, confident, and comfortable. Through pattern games, individualized acclimation sessions, and gentle handling training, we make sure each dog can approach the season with a little more courage (and a lot more fun!).
Holiday apparel isn’t just cute—it’s actually a fantastic way to build husbandry skills that help with grooming, medical care, and vet visits. Take Boldt, for example! He wasn’t thrilled about wearing a muzzle or cone at the vet, but because he already knew skills like chin targeting, “get dressed,” and placing his paws for photos, we were able to transfer that training directly to help him feel secure and cooperative. 💪🐾
And that brings us to Leo.
Sweet, thoughtful Leo, who sometimes finds the world a bit much. Today, we focused on helping him feel supported, safe, and understood while navigating the holiday chaos. No costumes or shenanigans, but skill building and success. And his grand finale?

That moment said everything.
Brave looks different on every dog… and today, Leo absolutely nailed it. 💛🐶
We’re so proud of you, buddy.
