Revolution Dog Sports Our goal is to help each dog/handler team compete to the best of their ability utilizing positive rei Why play with us?

The simple answer is: We have fun with each other and our dogs. Our goal is to help each dog/handler team compete to the best of their ability utilizing positive reinforcement training methods in a safe and friendly environment. We subscribe to the theory that it takes a village to train a dog and each of us provides support and encouragement for both their human and canine teammates. Whether you

are new to the world of dogs sports or an experienced competitor, we look forward to meeting you and your dog! Our History

In 2005, a small dedicated group of experienced and novice competitors came together to form a flyball team with the purpose of competing with good sportsmanship and teamwork. Calling ourselves RF Revolution Flyball, the team competed in NAFA and U-FLI tournaments throughout West Coast, received an invitation to the U-FLI nationals and competed in the 2007 NAFA National Championships. It became apparent, however, that we shared a mutual enjoyment in other sports as well. The flyball team was not only attending dock jumping competitions, obedience trials and earthdog tests en masse but offering training opportunities to the community in those sports as well! About Liz

As a trainer, judge and competitor, I am committed to safe and fun competition at all levels while promotion exceptional sportsmanship, teamwork and responsible dog ownership. My passion is the special relationship between human and canine developed through the exciting world of dog sports. Utilizing positive reinforcement methods and focusing on relationship building, over the past 10 years our amazing teams have competed at all levels of dog sports such as agility, barn hunt, dock jumping, obedience, rally, flyball, earthdog, trailing and locating, nosework, lure coursing and so much more. My goal is to see each team achieve their goals with joy, whether it be enjoying a Pupaccino together at Starbucks or competing at the national level in Barn Hunt. I am a professional member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as well as a multi-sport judge.

Y’all. What. A. Week.

Between the Van-mageddon 2025 and Mother Nature throwing a full-on tantrum, it’s been a wild ride. But you know what? You showed up. You rolled with the chaos. You kept your cool when the universe did not.

We just want to say a HUGE thank you to every single one of you—whether you braved the snow, dealt with our last-minute schedule shuffles, or just sent good vibes our way.

We seriously have the best clients ever, and we don’t take that for granted. We appreciate you more than a terrier loves destroying a squeaky toy.

Here’s to sunshine, return of the vans, and the best dog-loving community around.
You’re the real MVPs.

Thank you!!!

Drew often came across as a quiet and unassuming terrier, with long, skinny legs, ridiculous ears, and a perpetually worried brow. He wasn’t the flashiest, the fastest, or the bravest. But he was the smartest, the most empathetic, and the most helpful. He always tried so hard at anything we asked of him.

His list of accomplishments was long—he excelled in many sports, hunted well, and was a fantastic demo dog at public events and in classes. But above all, Drew was a very good dog and an even better friend. That’s what I will remember most.

Drew was also quite the character. He loved bathtubs. His favorite part of traveling was checking out the showers and tubs in various hotels. I have an entire gallery of “Drew in Bathtubs” that I will forever cherish.

Once, when we lived in a tiny one-bedroom house, Drew went into the bathroom, closed the door, and turned the shower on so he could play in it. We laughed—until we realized he had also locked the door. We had to take it off the hinges to get in. Drew simply jumped out of the shower, walked past us with a look that said, “I wasn’t done yet, but I guess you can have a turn.”

Another time, I had to take apart a doorknob to “free” him and his sister Riley because, like his mother Penelope, Drew had an excellent working knowledge of locking (and unlocking) doors. At one point, the tiny screwdriver I was using slipped through the door hole. Ever helpful, Drew picked it up for me so I could retrieve it.

In his senior years, Drew spent an inordinate amount of time napping in the guest bathroom tub. When his Cushing’s weakened his legs and he could no longer jump in, he made his nest right up against the tub instead. Hi love of this bathtub resulted in a permanent bed being set up for him there. Even today, he asked to go into the bathroom to rest before we set out for one last adventure.

Drew and his sister Riley were inseparable. When he arrived home from Canada, struggling and unsure, he saw Riley and instantly lit up. He became her emotional support dog, giving her the confidence to take on the world. They were two halves of one whole. We always said that if Drew went first, we would need to let Riley go with him. We also wondered what would happen if she went first. Sadly, we got our answer when we lost Riley unexpectedly at just nine years old. Drew aged five years overnight. His grief was deep, and we worried about his quality of life. But Drew persisted. He found new adventures, though he was never quite the same.

More than one friend, upon hearing of Drew’s passing, said he must have had a deal with the Crypt Keeper (a personal favorite) or the devil himself. We thought we would lose him in July. But in true Drew fashion, he rallied. And somehow, despite failing organs and Cushing’s, he enthusiastically embraced life, committing crimes and property damage along the way.

The thing about sharing your life with a very old dog is that you become keenly aware that your time together is finite. The big adventures fade into smaller joys—leaving out snacks on purpose to be stolen, long car rides just to sniff all the sniffs, and watching them "run away" with glee. We were so fortunate to have this extra time with Drew. He was happy, engaged, and living his best old-man life right until the end.

Today, Drew was ready. He passed in our laps, on a cushy bed, surrounded by the love and kindness of his favorite veterinary team and people. My heart is shattered into a million pieces, but I take comfort in knowing he left this world with peace and dignity.

Dogspeed, Drew. Go find Riley. She’s been waiting a very long time for her Emotional Support Dog even if I’ve lost mine.
Dogspeed, Drew.

A heartfelt thank you to the Mountain View Animal Hospital & Holistic Pet Care team for their exceptional and compassionate care of Drew through his senior years.

Thank you also my wonderful RDS team for helping us provide Drew with the best quality of life.

Our day campers had an action-packed day full of fun, learning, and plenty of treats! Here’s what they got up to:

🐾 Practiced two paws on small and moving objects
🎭 Mastered doggy limbo, going lower and lower under the bar
🏃‍♂️ Went around, through, and over obstacles on cue
🧘 Showed off impulse control by waiting for their turn
🐕 Played with friends and had a blast
🍖 Enjoyed tasty snacks
❤️ Soaked up lots of love

Winston and Snickers were a little camera shy today, but they had just as much fun with the gang! We love seeing these pups build confidence, learn new skills, and most importantly—have a great time!

Our Parkour pups kicked off their session by sharpening skills like over, under, through, two paws on different heights and textures, balancing on moving objects, and more! After warming up, we took those skills into the real world, turning everyday environments into an adventure.

Canine Parkour is like urban agility—it builds confidence, focus, and coordination while providing a fun mental and physical workout. Who’s ready to explore the world with their dog?

🐀🐶 "Wait… You Want Me to Do WHAT?!" 🐶🐀

Sometimes students are surprised when their dog—who loves chasing squirrels and digging up gophers—suddenly seems hesitant in their first rat sport class. 🤔 But think about how many times we’ve told our dogs: "Leave it! Stop digging! Don’t chase the cat!" And now, here we are asking them to check out our curious little rat friend. 🐭

Other factors, like rattlesnake avoidance training, proofing for public manners, and obedience training, also shape how dogs initially perceive this whole exchange. And that’s okay! Our goal in those first 2-3 sessions is to help them learn that in this context, it’s absolutely okay to engage! ✅

We use praise, petting, and high-value treats to create positive associations, and if your dog looks a little unsure—maybe freezing, backing up, stretching their nose out, or giving space—that’s completely normal. Latent learning plays a huge role in scent sports, and often, the next class is even more exciting! 🎉

Goose & Gabby, two of our day campers, had very different first reactions to meeting their new rat friends—but both left their session happy, confident, and eager to play again! 💪🐾

Trust the process, give them time, and soon enough, your pup will be all in on the game! 🏆
