Rancho San Rafael Regional Park and the Peavine trail network are undergoing a major addition this month. The Biggest Little Trail Stewardship is currently working to revamp the Reno Vista Trail. We couldn't be more excited about this addition to our trail system. The views from this new flow trail promise to be world class.
Please respect trail closures while under construction and allow trails to dry before use.

Ready to make 2024 a year to remember? ✨ Join the Trails Challenge!

The Truckee Meadows Trails Challenge is a goal-oriented program exploring trails throughout the Truckee Meadows. Once registered, your challenge lasts for one year. Set a goal, go out and hike, and join the Parks Foundation every month by signing up for the guided, interpretive hike that focuses on the natural and cultural history of the area. 🌲

The Perseid meteor shower will peak tomorrow morning, and thanks to the moon only being 10% illuminated, it promises to be a great show!

The peak will occur in the early hours of Sunday morning (EDT), but try anytime after dark on Saturday and hope for clear skies!

This is a great excuse for keeping the kids up late! Could be well worth it!
