Meet Owner and Trainer Joanna Moritz!
Joanna is the owner of Fur and Feather Works. She is a trainer with 20 years of animal training experience and a background in human teaching.
She earned her psychology degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, and is certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers, an NACSW Certified Nose Work Instructor, and a charter member of the Pet Professional Guild.
At home, Joanna cares for a mostly-rescued menagerie that includes two Amazon parrots, a disabled cockatiel, an Australian Cattle Dog/Chihuahua mix, an Australian Kelpie, and two cats.

Meet Simba! Simba loves his training sessions, but what he loved most about cat school was ... ⭐✨the printer✨⭐
Simba was in training because he was harassing his older "sister" car, Tumbles. Tumbles had taken to avoiding him by hiding under the bed and never coming out. On our last session we caught this photo of Tumbles and Simba *almost* cuddling on the cat tree! Simba isn't perfect yet (don't tell him that), but his relationship with Tumbles is soooo much better, and everyone in the house is happier for it. 😃
