Rain, mud, wind, cold—whatever the weather brings, the pups are ready for it❄️🧥
1. Sweater Weather
-If it’s chilly or wet, we encourage jackets! Please make sure to label your dog’s jacket.
-Waterproof jackets are the best option—they keep dogs dry and warm while still allowing them to romp around like usual.
-We do have a small indoor play space that we use when needed. On extra rough days, we sometimes divide our groups. One group (usually the die-hard weather lovers) gets to stay outside. The other group (our smaller dogs or older pups) can relax and play in the cozy indoor area.
-Our goal is always the same: to make sure every dog is safe, stimulated, and having a great time, no matter what the weather looks like.
2. Flu Season
Think of us like a child daycare: lots of dogs, close contact, and yes…viruses and bacteria. With holiday boarding coming up, it’s crucial to protect your pup. We deep-clean and sanitize daily, but vaccines help prevent the spread and reduce the risk of serious illness. Now is the perfect time to check with your vet and ensure your pup is up to date!
3. Book Ahead for the Holidays
Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year’s are booking FAST—we’re expecting 70+ boarders! 🐶 Reminder: We have NO cancellation policy, so lock in your spot ASAP to avoid being waitlisted.
4. New Policies Reminder
-No boarding within 3 weeks of a first-time evaluation
-Been gone for over a year? Your dog must complete a FREE 30-min re-evaluation. After that, they’ll need a day of Daycamp (half or full day) before boarding is approved again
Let’s keep tails wagging this fall and winter! 🍁🐕
