Pet of the Week 🐾

Meet Odin! He is a 16 week old Saint Bernard puppy, already at 54lbs, with enormous growth potential. He displays a very sweet personality and we are excited to see him mature.

Employee Pet Spotlight ✨

Meet Winry, she belongs to one of our Client Service Representatives, Amanda! Winry is 8 years old and is a fiend for the game of fetch. She’s Labrador, Pitbull, border Collie, and mini Aussie mix. She’s a goofy girl with a very shy side, but give her some time to warm up and she’ll be your best friend. Amanda has had her since she was 6 weeks old and she’s been full of humor and personality. She sings to Amanda when she comes home everyday and she’ll paw at her to get snuggles. Winry is very vocal on walks, yodeling the entire time. Amanda says they get strange looks from neighbors. Winry knows how to shake hands and is very gentle with both of Amanda’s kids. They love her very much, and hope to see her live to an old age.

Canine influenza, or “dog flu,” is a highly contagious respiratory illness that can be passed from dog to dog. It typically starts with a cough and can be mistaken for the more common and well-known Bordetella. In some cases, canine influenza can progress to pneumonia.

Meet Jaycee, a wonderful soul belonging to Dr. Angela Vranken! Here is what she says about her.

This is Jaycee - she’s my sassy 8-year old Chihuahua mix I rescued from the Nevada Humane Society. She was returned three times for being an escape artist, but really she’s just an adventure girl. Her favorite activities are sleeping, boat rides, and throwing her toys across the room. While she may not be a fan of other dogs, she LOVES her human friends and squeaks with joy when she meets them! Jaycee has IBD and a variety of other health issues, but she is proof that a perfect pup can exist in any form!
