Can I tell you the most beautiful story? Yesterday I had a group of ladies that were learning to thrive instead of just survive, visit the animals. It was the most synergistic experience I’ve ever had since inviting people over to experience the critters. The girls were so moved by all of the babies stories of abandonment, rehabilitation and now paying it forward by loving all of us humans. I watched them hug the llamas neck and just melt. I saw grown women become little girls and giggle and chase guinea pigs. It was truly the most magical experience I’ve had in a very long time. It’s been 24 hours and my heart is still so warm. To see the animals move 20 women made me believe we can accomplish so much more! We’re just getting started and I’ve got a real good feeling about this! I expanded the guinea pig village and added buddies. Even a half llama half alpaca as a guardian. All of them play during the day and come back at night. I always see the pigeons out front!

Emotional post ahead! After experiencing the near fire way too close to my precious animals this week, I have really been up in my head with the things I need to make the farm more safe. Yesterday as the rain just poured down I was so grateful to see a saturated ground. I asked the universe for a sign to help me through this difficult time. With many of my animals very very elderly I know the end is near and hay is $17 bail, times are tough. Immediately the neighbor called to look outside that there was a double rainbow. I felt renewed. I needed to be reminded that I’m not alone in this fight for the animals. Today i immerse myself in this nice wet ground. If you haven’t looked at my website, a lot of new things are happening. We accept all methods of payment for tax deductible donations to our nonprofit animal sanctuary. Omhome.org
