Along with the nice list...there are many things this holiday season that your dogs should not eat.
❄️ Keep those chocolate advent calendars out of reach.
β›„ During your holiday parties...keep the alcohol away from them.
πŸŽ…πŸ» After the big guy arrives...keep the candy left in the stockings out of reach and keep the dogs away that night.
πŸŽ„ Grapes, raisins, onions, garlic, and macadamia nuts are toxic to dogs and should not be given.
🎁 Raw yeast dough can be a hazard as it can expand if ingested.
🀢🏻 Xylitol...an artificial sweetener is highly poisonous to dogs.
❄️ During your holiday feast...fatty foods (turkey skin, ham and some gravy) can lead to pancreatitis. Cooked bones can splinter and cause internal injuries.

🐾 Pets can snoop as much as your kids when it comes to the holidays. If you keep these items and others that they shouldn't have out of their reach, you and your dog will have a very happy holiday.

We wanted to take a moment to thank all of our Veterans for their service to our country.

We took our first load of food to the food pantry today and want to thank everyone who has donated so far. Right after the picture was taken we had 24 more cans dropped off. You all are incredible! The food pantry was also very thankful for the donation.

According to The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's January 2024 Point-in Time count, it was estimated that there were 32,882 veterans experiencing homelessness on a single night. Many veterans utilize the food pantry for themselves and/or their canine (and sometimes feline) companions. It is said that veterans benefit from having a dog through improved mental and physical health, including reduced stress, anxiety and depression, as well as increased social interaction and physical activity.

We are extremely thankful to be able to help these veterans in even the smallest way of donating some food.

Keep the donations coming!! Thank you for everyone who has donated so far!!
