It’s not hard to see the ways we are spending our time out of alignment. 💛

As we start this new month, I’m honored to be walking this road with you.

I wrote every word of the book with you in my heart.

I write every word here with a sense of "us" on a journey together. 🩷

Emergency fundraiser/donation requested for Desert Pines Horse Rescue!!!

My heart is still aching from the loss of Miracle due to EPM.

My heartfelt thanks to out to DVM Joe Coli with Comstock Equine Hospital and Maureen Daane with Angel Wings Equine Transport Services for the loving, caring way of taking care of Miracle in the most humane way possible.

The most humane way possible is expensive though... so I am asking for some generous donations from all of you to help out with the cost of properly taking care of Miracle and possibly funding more rescues in the future. I have a waiting list and two are emergency intakes!

Miracle crossed the rainbow bridge today after the last cold snap magnified his EPM to the point that he could not walk. This was a drastic change from the wonderful condition he was in the week before with all of the volunteers!!! He will be forever remembered as that goofy guy who loved to stick his tongue out and wiggle his head back and forth to get attention or buck in place to get attention from anyone watching!! Miracle would gladly say yes or no to questions to get a cookie!!! It is estimated that he was only 17 to 20 years old! He was loved by everyone who met him. I brought Miracle home from the Bowie feedlot in Texas in 2018, and he was quickly adopted out to a loving family where he spent the next 4 years. He only returned to us in February of this year, under unusual circumstances, and entertained everyone with his funny antics. It's ironic that the spot on his neck that everyone thought was cancer had completely healed. He was beautiful inside as well as outside and will be missed very much!!! My heart is breaking right now!!! I love the rescue! I love the challenge of rehabilitation no matter how long it takes! I love the training! However, it still hurts so deeply when I lose one. It feels like a part of me dies with them!!! Run free and wild in your heavenly pastures, sweet Miracle!!!! We loved you ❤️ 🐎❤️

Quick update on the fillies. The girls are doing great! Turn out time is free reign in the barn, arena and round pen... in a big circle if the want. LOL!!! They always stop by the tack room to see what I set out for them. LOL 😆 Lots of hay, some treats... pellets, Omolene mixed in.
