Meet Misty, our gorgeous feline friend who stopped by recently for her ultrasound with our visiting ultrasonographer! 💜🐱 Misty was the picture of elegance in her stylish purple harness and stole all of our hearts (as you can see, our lovely receptionist Laura is totally smitten!).

But Misty isn’t the only one stealing hearts—her adorable kittens have also been in to see us! 🐾💕 They’ve been just as charming as their mama, and we can’t wait to watch them grow into their own little royalty.

Sending Misty and her babies all the love and hoping for good news from her scan! 💕

Our team and their furry pals recently enjoyed some beautiful hikes, and it’s a great reminder to get outside and soak up the sunshine while we can! With warmer months ahead, we’re all looking forward to more outdoor adventures, but it's also important to remember that with warmer weather comes more bugs. 🦟

We’ve already started seeing mosquitoes this year, and many people don’t realize that mosquitoes are the main culprit when it comes to spreading heartworms. ❤🪱 As you’re getting ready for the season, don’t forget to make sure your pets are on their flea/tick preventatives and that they’ve had their yearly heartworm test and preventative to keep them safe.

We recently had the pleasure of sitting down with one of our patient’s moms to hear her firsthand account of his incredible journey to recovery!

Meet Vulcan, a brave pup who faced a tough challenge after jaw surgery—his bottom right eyelid wasn’t functioning, leaving his eye unable to close on its own. This meant constant eye drops, careful sleeping positions, and a more cautious, needy version of the playful pup his family knew and loved.

When we suggested acupuncture, his family was both excited and nervous—would it bring back function or confirm permanent nerve damage? But Vulcan proved just how resilient he is! 💪

🐾 Just two days after his first session, things changed. He woke up with significant eyelid movement—and from there, the progress was fast! Now, just a month later, his eyelid is almost 100% back to normal! He’s back to playing, more independent, and living life like the happy pup he’s meant to be. 🎉

To pet parents unsure about acupuncture, Vulcan’s mom has some advice:

“Do it anyways! The worst thing that can happen is it does nothing, but chances are, it will do something—or at least give you answers. It’s crazy the things it can help with, even things you wouldn’t expect. It has never failed me, and it’s been such a great tool. I’ve seen it help a senior dog with cancer find the strength to play again. I’ve seen it help my own mom feel better. And now, I’ve seen it help Vulcan heal faster after such an invasive surgery so he can be a puppy again. It’s always worth a try—especially if you’re going to the right place for it.” 💙

We’re beyond thrilled to have been part of Vulcan’s journey and to witness the power of acupuncture in action! 🐶✨

We had the absolute pleasure of meeting sweet Lily today! 🐶💖
This adorable and spunky pitbull puppy is the newest baby in the Scoot to the Stars Rescue clan! She came in for a visit, and we fitted her with two casts to help with her front leg deformities. She handled everything like a champ, and as you can see in the second photo, she’s as happy as ever! 🥰🐾

We’re so excited to be part of Lily’s journey and can’t wait to see her grow stronger every day!

The Super Bowl’s biggest fan isn’t a quarterback or a coach—it’s Punkin! 🐾✨ This little MVP (Most Valuable Punkin) is all set to attend her mom Dr. Brown’s Super Bowl party, and she’s already got her party hat on to celebrate in style. 🥳

While the humans might be snacking on nachos and cheering for the Chiefs or the Eagles, Punkin promises to cheer for everyone’s team equally (as long as someone shares a snack or two 😏).
