Every day, they bring comfort and love to our patients, whether it’s through gentle care during exams or providing support in challenging times. They work tirelessly behind the scenes, ensuring that every pet receives the best possible treatment and a little extra love along the way. We truly couldn't do it without them!

We'd like to invite you for a special fundraising event at Lead Dog Brewing this weekend! We’re coming together to support CAPS, a rural animal shelter that has given so many animals a second chance at life.

Sammy, one of our amazing patients and a brave paralyzed pup, was adopted from CAPS. He has made incredible strides thanks to the love and care he receives, including acupuncture and chiropractic treatments from one of our holistic veterinarians, Dr. Brim.

This event is not just about raising funds; it’s about celebrating the impact that CAPS has on our community and the amazing transformations that happen when we give animals a chance. Let’s come together to make a difference for all the animals who need us! 🐕✨

From the bottom of our hearts, we want to say THANK YOU to everyone who generously donated items and supported our yard sale for Scoot to the Stars Rescue . Because of YOU, we were able to raise an incredible $1,714 that will go directly to Cheeto, Frito, and Pumpkin (pictured) so they can get the care, love, and necessities they truly deserve. 💛🐾

Your kindness and generosity mean the world, not just to us but to these beautiful souls who rely on us for a better life. You’ve made a real difference in their lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Scoot to the Stars continues to do such important work caring for paralyzed dogs, and they’re still accepting donations to help build their new sanctuary and provide the care these sweet dogs need. Every bit helps and we've included their QR code for donations.

As many of you know, the incredible animals in this rescue have faced unique challenges, and we want to do our part to make their lives a little brighter. 🐾✨ All proceeds from our sale will go toward providing essentials for these deserving pets.

Heads up, pet parents! As we enjoy these sunny summer days, it's crucial to stay informed about harmful algae blooms (HABs) that can affect our furry friends. These blooms, often found in freshwater lakes and ponds, can produce toxins called Cyanobacteria that are harmful to pets if ingested. Symptoms can range from mild skin irritation to more serious health issues. Here are a few tips to keep your pups safe:

Know the signs: Look out for discolored water (green, blue-green, or brown), scum, or a strong musty odor.
Keep them out: Avoid letting your dogs swim or drink from bodies of water where algae blooms are suspected.
Rinse off: After any water play, rinse your pet thoroughly to remove any potential toxins from their fur and paws.
Act fast: If your pet shows signs of illness after being near water with algae blooms, contact your vet immediately.

Meet Luciano: This little dragon had a rough go at life, needing to get both his leg AND tail amputated back in March 2023 by our exotic veterinarian, Dr. Landon. As you can see from the video his owner shared, he has been THRIVING since his surgery and enjoys exploring the lay of the land in his adopted home. Thank you for giving him a chance and trusting us with his care, Davis Family! 🫶
