BREAKING NEWS: The FY23 House Interior Appropriations bill was just released. The bill maintains a ban that prevents the Bureau of Land Management or Forest Service from selling wild horses and burros for slaughter or destroying healthy, unadopted wild horses and burros. We thank the House Appropriations Committee for including this language. There will be more on this issue over the next week as the bill moves to the full committee so be sure to stay tuned!
