Sweet Chuck from Poppy’s litter scratched his eye which calls for extra TLC and some eye drops from the vet several times a day. A special thank you to my vet and staff at Wayside Veterinary Services, for squeezing us in yesterday and easing my mind. I always expect the worst when something goes wrong with any of the fur kids, and they’re always there for us 🫶🏻

Vet visits start next Monday for the litters first vaccinations 🫶🏻

✨Jake- Stay healthy and sassy.
✨Drift- Maintain his appetite and weight, hopefully collect him one more time for frozen.
✨Scarlet- Continue to enjoy retirement.
✨ Samantha Jo- Get spayed and start her retirement once pups leave.
✨Yukon- Run as many FastCAT events as possible and achieve his DCAT title.
✨Mooshie- Really dive into FastCAT and more time in the harness.
✨Quinnzhee- Continue to enjoy retirement and spend more time in the harness.
✨Igloo- Run as many FastCAT events as possible and achieve her DCAT title. Spend more time in the harness.
✨Magnolia- Continue to be my flat tire of a malamute, emotional support doggo.
✨Hondo- Find a sport for him.
✨Foxy- More harness time.
✨Frizzle- Get spayed and off to the pawfect pet home waiting on her.
✨Flanna- Complete and pass her health testing. More harness time.
✨Banks- Recertify with OFA Finals. More harness time.
✨Morticia- Complete and pass her health testing. Work on more socialization and desensitization to things that stress her out.
✨Lumitalo- Complete and pass her Health testing. Find a sport for her.
✨Poppy- Start FastCAT and lots of harness time. Do her Embark.
✨Pebbles- Start FastCAT. Do her Embark.

✨General- All puppies go to the most pawfect homes where they are loved and cherished for their long lives. Get back on a more frequent grooming schedule for the pack like I used to.

⭐️⭐️⭐️UPDATE⭐️⭐️⭐️

✨Swabs for all 35 puppies have been received and are processing by Animal Genetics! Hoping to have results by Wednesday, all else fails I’ll have them by the end of this week.

✨Wednesday, yet again, will be picture day! Gotta love bonus days off work.

✨All 4 litters are eating food like champs now and still nursing, though I suspect Mooshie and Samantha Jo will be done with milk production soon. Foxy and Poppy are still going strong.

✨Puppy picking will start end of this week, be sure to get your applications in!

✨I will be doing videos for approved applicants Wednesday as well.

Apparently this time she thinks child birth is gross 🤣🤣🤣🤣 seems like we’re having a pup every hour on the hour. 1 masked red female, 1 closed face red female, and 1 closed face red male so far 🥰🫶🏻

Poppy- 9 months old, first time ever in the harness. A natural with 50# of chain behind her 💪🏼

Flanna x Poppy as mudamutes. Flanna is a little rough with poppy so play time is limited. I love it for them though 🥰

Every day with these 2. Besties for the resties. Banks has about 90lbs on her and forgets that 🤦🏼‍♀️🤣

Periodic exposure matters 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Look at Banks playing with the rubber curry comb without a care in the world. 🥰 I constantly see “oh my malamute won’t let me….” You can insert brush, wash, blow out, clip nails. It’s all about exposure! Brush your dog frequently from the time you bring them home (even if they’re a short coat). Clip their nails routinely from the time they come home, and if they don’t need cut, fine just mess with their feet regularly. If your pup is a wooly, get them on a schedule with a groomer. A dog should not dictate your lives in such ways but they will if you wait until they’re 100+lbs of noise and warning air chomps.

Got some big ol pipes today for enrichment and agility activities for the kids. CJ took right to it and is showing everyone the ropes. About half of the kids tried it out tonight. Modifying the exercise yard once this weather cooperates and this pipe as well as a 42” one will be put in place 🥰

This girl knows how to put away some groceries 🫣😂 Miss Susan Storm of The Fantastic 4 is already over 10lbs at last nights weigh in 😮‍💨. She will make someone a lovely giant wooly cuddle bug some day, could it be you? 🤔😉 Application on the website⬇️⬇️⬇️ Mootmanormalamutes.com

This is why I urge puppy parents to keep up on grooming their pups. Look at Fairbanks being so good while I dry his paws with the blower. Just laying there wagging his tail. I try to give these pups the best start 🫶🏻 Fairbanks and Everest leave for Colorado and Utah (respectively) tonight, and with that all of Santa’s Reindeer will be off on their new adventures 💕🐾
