Hello! I’m Rico and I’m new to this place. This is my first visit and I’m very timid. I miss my mom and dad but the ladies here aren’t so bad. I love to play ball and snuggle up on the couch with them, they give me tasty treats. I’m very happy here but also very excited for mom and dad to come home!

Good morning! I’m Bruno and I’m visiting Sunny Paws for the first time with by buddy Baxter. He’s an old pro and showed me the ropes. I was really shy at first but now I realize it’s lots of fun here! I absolutely LOVE playing with the jolly ball and being outside with my friend. The girls here are nice and have tons of treats. I’m a good boy and definitely having a blast!

Hi, my name is Loki and I am a Siberian Husky. Almost six years ago my mom was having empty nest syndrome after my big sister and big brother moved out and decided she needed another baby to take care of. Dad wasn’t keen on the idea of getting a dog after 15 years of not having a dog anymore. But I won him over real quick and he always saves me a small piece of his chicken from dinner and feeds it to me with a fork like I’m a king. My older siblings like to come and take me for walks and all kinds of adventures like walking downtown Rensselaer, Valpo and I’ve even been to the Dunes. I love it when mom comes home and I race her to the garage so I can get some loving. I try to beat her, but it’s usually a tight race because she likes to drive fast. My most favorite thing to do is spend time in our backyard, especially when it’s snowing and freezing out. Mom makes me come in every so often though when it’s super cold. But I love it and it’s what I was made for. I can’t wait to spend time at Sunny Paws and see old friends and make new ones!

Hi there! My name’s Pixie and I’m your resident couch potato! I may enjoy my naps but I also love walkies. I live for treats and table scraps, and am known for stealing and eating entire sandwiches! I am the friendliest girl and always know when someone is sad or upset, I do everything I can to make them feel better. My name is Dodger and I am a big baby. I LOVE to play and wrestle. I’m going to be a big boy at just under 100 pounds and 9 months old. Miss Kayla calls me her “dream dog” because I’m so handsome but mom calls me “Dodge Podge”. People are so afraid of me and my bark but honestly I am the sweetest, friendliest boy you’ll meet! I may LOOK terrifying, but the vacuum cleaner scares the bejeezus out of me. My favorite thing to do at Sunny Paws is all the enrichment activities, they are so fun and keep my brain busy!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY! My name is Smidgett, aka Smidgepie, Smidgegoober, Gooberpie, Spaz. My mama calls me a “tornado of love” and that’s the truth! I am a tiny tornado who loves everyone. I especially love my red Kong ball. I really love coming to Sunny Paws every week for daycare. I get so many treats, all the love, and there’s always something fun to do. Hey ladies (and guys)! Happy galentine's day! My name is Steiger and I am a very handsome boy. I LOVE pheasant hunting and duck hunting. I visit the farm with my sister Birdie and it's so much fun but I'm frequently caught sleeping and relaxing while Birdie keeps an eye on things, she's got this! I am food obsessed, love my snuggles, and am overall pretty laid back. I enjoy sniffing EVERYTHING and chasing birds while Birdie and I are visiting Sunny Paws.

What's up? I'm Birdie, but the ladies at Sunny Paws call me "bird girl" "buhbuhbuhbird" and "birdie baaaaaaaaaby". I love to fetch and push my herding ball around my yard at home and cruising around the farm in dad's pick up truck. I am a high energy girly who loves snuggles and will even hold onto you to get you to love me. I am very good at protecting my farm and stealing all of the attention away from my brother Steiger.

Hiya, the name's Cash and I'm a goodest floof boy! I am LOVING the colder weather, it's hard for mom and dad to get me to come inside. Boy oh boy do I love snuggling with mom and dad, but mom's been gaining some belly lately... they say I'm going to be a big brother. It sounds really exciting but I don't know what that means, I just know I'm going to be a really good one. I love coming to Sunny Paws because they also like to snuggle and play outside!
