I’m excited to announce that a good friend of mine, Baylee Neira, has joined our team! Baylee has been grooming for about a year and half and she is incredibly talented! Her blending skills are flawless and I know she’s going to rock. She has a heart of gold for animals and really loves what she does. We feel blessed to have her apart of our team! Feel free to give us a call and request an appointment with Baylee!

Baylee’s hours are:

Ya’ll this weekend was legit! Jade and I took full advantage of the All American Groom show in Schaumburg, IL. So let me tell you a little about it!

First we took classes! With the ever changing grooming world, knowledge is power. Every groomer brings something different to the table and we all have different styles of grooming. So learning different styles and techniques is always helpful!

Some classes we took were:
⭐️ Hair and Skin 101
⭐️ Safe handling Difficult Dogs
⭐️ First Aid and CPR
⭐️ Everything Doodle
⭐️ All about the Face: Basics
⭐️ All about the Face: Doodles
⭐️ All about the Face: Brachycephalic Breeds
⭐️ Long to Short Styling Doodles

Next we attended the Trade show. Here we got to learn and see different products and equipment on the market. We both spent to much money 😂

Lastly we got to watch the grooming competitions.

It was seriously amazing and we had a great time. We are excited to share with all of your our new knowledge, products, equipment, and quality of services!

Melaina is coming back!!

After some time with her new sweet baby, Melaina has decided to come back part time! She will be working on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Her first day back is Aug. 20th! If you want to get on her books, send us a message or give us a call!

It was a day for Great Pyrenees! We had 3 come through today and it looked like a dog blew up at one point with all of the hair! They are looking and feeling their best now!

We have some exciting news!! We officially have tshirts made!! These shirts have our logo printed on the back with our location and phone number. On the front pocket area will be the dogs in the bath tub! (There will be no name on it like pictured below!)

These shirts come in 3 different colors! Blue, Lavender, and Teal!

Starting in August we are going to start offering half price bath days! This will be held on the first Friday of every month.

Here are the following dates for half price baths:
⁃ August 2nd, 2024
⁃ September 6th, 2024
⁃ October 4th, 2024
⁃ November 1st, 2024
⁃ December 6th, 2024

Here’s the scoop:
⁃ Bath packages include bath, blow dry, nails trimmed and ears cleaned. No you cannot add anything in addition on these days. No shedless treatments, no full grooms, no trim ups, so please don’t ask.

Rules/Requirements:

⁃ Your dog must be up to date on Rabies & Distemper vaccinations & you will be required to fill out a grooming consent.
⁃ No aggressive dogs will be accepted this day. If you try and book and your dog is aggressive, you will be charged the full amount.
⁃ If you no show or cancel last minute on these days, you won’t be allowed to rebook on half price day.
⁃ You must be able to pick up your pet in a timely manner after we call and tell you that your dog is ready to be picked up.

We are excited to offer this to our community and hope it helps some people out! This will be the only Fridays we are open. Our regular hours are Monday - Thursdays 9am - 5pm. Message us to claim a spot! These will go fast!

Our “dog of the week” is Penny! Penny has been coming to us since we opened up in January! She was actually one of our very first grooms! Penny is a very sweet girl! She loves to jump up on the groom table and get pampered! We love when Penny is on our schedule and always look forward to seeing her again!

For being ”dog of the week” Penny will receive $10.00 off her next groom!

It’s never to late for our “dog of the week!”

Today we have Maverick! Maverick has been coming to get groomed by me since we was a baby! He is on a routine schedule for every 4 weeks! Once’s a month he gets a clean up. The next month he gets a full groom. He is such a good boy and we always love seeing him in our schedule!

For being ”dog of the week” Maverick will receive $10.00 off his next groom!

I can’t explain how much it can affect a dog just by getting a haircut.

Our friend Benji, was such a transformation! Benji loves spending time outside and swimming in a pond. He needed to be shaved down due to matting and he looked so handsome when he was all done! It immediately lifted his spirits and his owner told us he was so cuddly and playful post groom.

There are times where we see this immediately after a dogs groom. So many dogs will walk around with their heads held high because they know they look good! I’m so glad his owner let us know he was feeling so much better!

It’s our Groomer, Melaina’s birthday today!! and we also have some exciting news!

Melaina gave birth on June 2nd to a very handsome little boy! (I know, most of your probably didn’t even know she was pregnant bc she was so small and her belly hid under her smock 😂) She will be gone on maternity leave for a couple of months enjoying her first baby! Help me wish her a very Happy Birthday and congratulations!!

It’s Wednesday and it’s “dog of the week” day!

Today we have Max. Max has been coming to get groomed by me for about 6 months. Max is the best boy and very well mannered. He jumps into the tub and onto the table willingly. He always sits and stands well for his grooms but doesn’t like his feet touched much. He also likes to “walk” himself on a leash. We love having Max on a regular schedule because he always makes us smile!

For being ”dog of the week” Max will receive $10.00 off his next groom!

It’s Wednesday and it’s “dog of the week” day!

Today we have Darby! Darby has been coming to me for about 6 months now. Darby has a rough past when it comes to grooming. His previous owner let his skirt grow long and they didn’t care for it properly and let it get matted. Then they would try and brush it which is so incredibly painful for dogs. Needless to say, Darby is not crazy about the grooming process. His new owners have worked so hard with him, getting him as close to comfortable as we can! His groom will never be perfect because of his fears but we’ve come so far with earning his trust.

For being ”dog of the week” Darby will receive $10.00 off his next groom!
