Mothers pudding is a mixture of raw goats milk, ricotta and cottage cheese, yogurt, raw eggs, and then we usually add some pureed chicken and pumpkin. This is the only thing most of our girls will eat after whelping. It's got protein and calcium, lots of fluids and calories. LIttle Bender is doing well. No longer weak and rooting to nurse but just strong enough to get any milk so he was tube fed every 2 hours all night. We will try a bottle today. Pups will get rear dewclaws removed today. We leave the fronts as they are functional. Pups are getting lots of snuggles and holding today which benefits them and relaxes us. This momma needs a shower and a nap!
Ps the eggs are farm fresh from our very own Morning Dew farms organic free range chickens. We may have extra available during open houses for $5.00 pr dozen and will definitely have some new baby chicks!

Everyone is doing great. We will email those getting a puppy sometime tomorrow with all the details.

We are home. 6 pups - 3 girls and 3 boys. Pepi is resting, did vreat for her c sectuon. Pups are nursing. Gave little "Bender" some colostrum that I milked from Pepi with some formula tube fed and a supplement and he is already getting stronger. We will give him extra attention but we are hopeful that he will be just fine. Now we all rest. Thanks for the prayers for little Bender!

We ended up in a c section for Pepi. The third pup was bent into a u shape in the uterus and blocked everyone behind him. We have 6 total but little "bender" is pretty weak. He will get tube fed when we get home. Will post pics later today. Momma Pepi and the other 5 pups are doing great.

Whelping room is ready. Pepi has good milk production, we can feel the pups kicking inside her belly, and Pepi is eating less so we are spoiling her with cooked foods and high calorie organ meats. Pups expected Friday or Saturday

Pepi pups are due in 2 weeks, depending on litter size. we may have additional pups available that would go home mid April. Mags just went into heat, her pups would go home mid june. We will breed her if we have enough interest in this litter. Please email us if you are not on the waiting list and would like a pup or if you are on the list send us an email or notify us here!
