Our compassionate, knowledgeable staff is here to serve your pets 7 days a week. Our animal urgent care services are offered on a walk-in basis only; we do not take appointments. In general, we provide care for your pet in situations where the problem isn’t critical enough to seek emergency care but you are unable to get an appointment at your primary veterinarian’s office within a few days. We tr

eat the following issues in dogs and cats:

• limping or pain
• minor lacerations, wounds, or burns
• abscesses
• vomiting and diarrhea
• blood in urine or stool
• cough or upper respiratory infection
• urinary tract infections
• toxin ingestion
• allergic reactions
• eye problems
• ear or skin infections
• scooting or licking
• broken toenails

In comparison, an emergency veterinarian hospital would treat issues like open fractures, heavy or uncontrolled bleeding, difficulty breathing, inability to urinate, and seizures. For these issues or life-threatening emergencies, please go to the nearest emergency veterinary hospital.

We now have six doctors on staff at Arrow! The clinic started with co-founders Dr Wieringa and Dr Guerra, and in the past three years we have continued to add to our amazing team. Combined, our doctors have over 90 years of experience in both emergency medicine and general practice! To continue to serve our community and support our local veterinarians, we will have two doctors on staff during the weekdays and three doctors on Saturday and Sunday. Thank you all for your support and we hope to continue our work as we enter our fourth year in business.

We have some exciting news. Arrow will be moving to a new, larger location in Renton. We are currently renovating the space and anticipate opening within a few months. We will have almost triple the space, ample parking for all clients, and a handicap accessible entrance. Stay tuned for photo updates and the announcement of our opening date.

For the past month, the doctors at Arrow have been pulling foxtails out of ears, eyes, noses, and various skin abscesses. But this one takes the cake! This poor girl came to us with a swollen tongue and was unable to eat. After she was sedated, we saw a foxtail embedded in her tongue.
