Today marks the 22nd anniversary of 9/11.

Within hours of the attacks an estimated 300 specialty trained dogs were deployed to Ground Zero to begin the straineous search and rescue task. Along side a set of Veterinarians who were stationed at the site to help care for these dogs and some wonderful, emotionally supportive humans, these dogs were able to save 20 people from the rubble. Today we honor all of the furry, 4 legged heroes for all of their courage and dedication.
