I speak to a lot of people about puzzle feeders. I LOVE them! They provide so much good:
▪︎mental stimulation
▪︎satisfying hunting instincts
▪︎help control weight
▪︎slow down feedings

This is Zatti, my cat who desperately wants to be 30lb. I want her at a healthy weight, and we meet somewhat in the middle. I have 3 puzzle feeders for her that I grab at random, and will often catch her purring and playing with them on her own too. It helps keep her weight controlled and slows down her eating so she has less regurgitation of food.

Meet Simon, our 21 year old "pawspice" patient.

Simon's mom reached out to us in September with some concerns about vomiting, weightloss, trouble eating and a skin issue that was not resolving with initial treatments.

We are happy to report that since treating Simon he is improving on all counts and his owner is so excited that Simon is being Simon again.

Calendars like this one can help keep track of the daily ups and downs when quality of life issues arise.

During the month of Thanksgiving we are so thankful that we can help Simon get the best out of his golden years.

Meet Gus!

Gus is a senior mastiff with mobility issues and one of the bestest boys around. His mom finds that rugs and runners help Gus to navigate his home without caution or fear of slipping and sliding.

Having the rugs in Gus's most traveled spaces and in front of his elevated food bowl are such a huge part in giving Gus the best quality of life in his senior years.

If you have a senior pet with mobility concern, try placing rugs, runners or yoga mats. If your pet struggles with incontinence, yoga mats are a great fit as they are easily washed.

We strongly believe that the last day of your pet's life is one of the most important. Letting us be a part of that process is an honor that we do not take lightly. Dr. Melissa made a whip cream/beef liver sundae for this angel, Sadie. It was so nice to see her enjoy a sweet treat before her journey goodbye.
