Offering a free two week to 30 day tune up on any horse I did in 2024!

I am offering services for tune ups c**t starting trail riding experience and legging up broke horses for $600 all hay grain and hauling included. Starting April 2025.

I require half up front and the rest due at the end of training.

Unbroke horses I really recommend 60 to 90 days to get a nice foundation and start to riding. They will have a ton of ground work done with some ride time. If you send your unbroke horse to me for 30 days I do not guarantee riding or miles. I am not a cowboy and WILL NOT cowboy your horse.

Message me here if interested in booking for April. I'll have 4 spots.

I don't care who you are or what discipline you ride.

Put a flex on your horse.

It is so much more than just a "one rein stop". It's your E break if they don't stop when asking via vertical flexion. It's a exercise to keep them soft and supple on both sides it keeps their necks from being stiff it's a great stretch for them too.

It's not something that should be taboo in the training world. This maneuver once your horse is trained for it and you do HAVE to train them for it. Can stop so many accidents runaways bucks etc.

I always put a side to side flex on all my personal and training horses and I teach their owners how to activate it. This is the most important tool you can use and it can save your life in a really precarious situation.

Not every horse will stop in a bad situation when you pull back. But if you can do this maneuver effectively you can just about 100% shut any horse down before things get really sideways.

Put a flex on your horse.

30 days does not mean 30 rides.

Generally in my experience people tend to send their horses to training and expect 30 days to mean 30 rides or at least over half the month they are at the trainers they should be riding. Truly with a good trainer you are looking at needing to leave your horse for 60 days and while I do encourage that for all my clients most will not do that.

It takes a good solid foundation on the ground to maintain a good solid foundation in the saddle. It isn't realistic to expect 30 rides in 30 days. Here 30 days means 30 days of solid work whether that be rides or ground work. Your horse will be worked for 30 days. Any days that I just cannot ride or the weather messes us up, you will be given those days at the end of your month so I can make sure you have your full 30 days.

If you want your horse to have 30 rides anywhere at any trainer you should expect to have your horse at a trainers for no less than 60 days. You cannot force a horse to move quicker than they want to or can handle. That just creates a illy mannered horse with holes in its training.

So I will say it again as it is and will always be my policy for my training program. 30 days does not equal 30 rides.

She was a little sassy for her first lope. But her progress is great. Getting a nice stop when asked and going into her gates somewhat smoothly.

We really try to build a solid foundation so our training horses feel confident enough to lope with out blow up or accident. But sometimes they can still be a little sassy. As smart as this mare is she'll be loping circles by the end of the week and ready to go home.

So my program consists of letting the horse lead. Meaning that usually the first few rides aren't very long at all. When you actually listen to a horse and know how to handle them. Their attention spans really aren't that great. Some you can get 10 minutes some you can get an hour.

To avoid blow ups in the first few rides or ever(we really strive to not have any blow up undersaddle.) My rides are short and sweet. I focus on one thing and once that one thing is achieved we are done.

So when people ask "well what did you do on 30 days" and don't believe their horse is as far along as they think they should be. It's really off putting as a trainer because we dedicate our time to make sure the horse is solid happy and safe. We don't rush push or make them blow up.

It's important to listen to the horse because they can tell you so much in such a short session.

Even the young ones need to go through things. And in our program you can expect trail riding like this that they work through so your horse understands and does not blow up.

Got some ponies worked today even with the wind today!

Dakota is learning to be soft and Matt is my free spot horse for 30 days. He is a 10 year old halter broke arabian gelding. Very sweet and willing, his ground work is becoming more consistent and hes becoming easier to catch now.

Round pen is officially up. 6 foot high and 50 feet. Room to have a nice lope in there!
