Did you know you can get a picture of your dog with Santa Paws???

Petsmart is having their Paws & Claus event on Dec 16th and 17th, from 12-3pm, at every location.

Click on the link below, choose your preferred location, schedule your appointment, and bring your pup and family for a FREE photo with Santa.

Then, to make sure they stay off the Naughty list you can sign up for a training class where you and your pup learn together the basics of dog training.

Like I mentioned, the photo event is happening at every petsmart, BUT, the best trainer around is in the Reston Spectrum Center location (that would be ME! 😊)

Dear friends and pet parents,

As the warm weather approaches, ticks come out.

Remember to check your pets after every walk, as well as do thorough checks at least once a week, since ticks like to hide in places such as between the paw pads, in and around the ears, around and under the tail, and in the pits of your fur baby’s arms and legs, which is where I found a tick on Rico today right after our lunch walk.

Luckly Rico is up to date on his flea and tick preventatives, so the tick died pretty quickly.

Ticks are not only dangerous to your dogs, but also to humans, as they transmit numerous diseases, including Lyme disease and Ehrlichiosis which affects both humans and dogs.

Let’s all be safe this summer!!
