✨Zeus & Luna’s Testimonial✨
My babies are Zeus, a 5 yr old pittie mix, and Luna a 2 year old Corso. I got Zeus when i was 16(very stupid of me) and really had no idea how time consuming and hard training can be, especially to a hardheaded puppy. I tried my best to teach him basic obedience but never kept up with it. Anytime I would take him on a walk all he knew was to pull and not slow down. He also had some problems with reactivity since he did not get very socialized as a puppy, which is all on me. I tried bringing treats on walks to see if i can get back his focus since he is REALLY food motivated but never worked. I couldn’t take him on many walks anymore because it was always a hassle trying to actually enjoy the walk. He would also bark at anything and anyone that would walk by the house, even if it was a leaf, he did not want it to pass the window. It was hard to get him away from the window and ignore what was outside. When it came to other dogs, he wouldn’t care for them unless they barked at him. There was a situation where a neighbor who walks their 2 small dogs on retractable leashes while Zeus and I are in the backyard. The 2 dogs charge at the fence and are barking and growling aggressively and Zeus did not know what to do, it stressed him out and made him reactive to those dogs in specific. They would always come to our fence on their walks until i had to tell the owner to get his dogs away. I hated seeing Zeus get as reactive as he did because we are in the presence of our own home and his breed already has the worst stigma around. I didn’t want to fail him and have him be apart of it and quite possibly lose him.
When I got Luna I made a promise to myself and my babies that I would make sure they live the best life a dog can live but also know where there are rules and there is a leader. I was trying new tricks and tips i would find online to help with their training. When Luna first came home she would get walked separately from Zeus since all he knew is to pull. Luna would walk perfectly fine on a leash, slight pulling but not to the point where she was always in the lead. As Luna started getting older I would start walking them together, which ended up in her picking up his habit and always wanting to be in the lead. She then also started to bark at anything that would pass the window. She would also get reactive to almost every dog we would see. That’s when I knew I need to look into professional training. At the time i was looking around I was working at a facility where I helped take care of dogs and my coworker told me about Sarai and George since she was also going to get her pups in with them. I started following them on instagram and watching all the videos (im not a stalker lol) to get an idea of what the training would consist of and also to see if this is what is needed for my babies. Once i realized i needed to work with them, i started getting plans ready. Until one day Zeus got defensive over a toy, which has never happened before. It was a big shock since it was out of nowhere.
That’s when i sent my email to Sarai & George. Right when i met Sarai & George I knew they were the best choice. She explained everything with the training and the behaviors that I told her about that I was noticing. They would answer any and all questions that I had. When the babies left for their boarding I was nervous, they never stayed at another house before so I didn’t know how they would react. Sarai and George kept me updated on how they were doing, also sending pictures and videos of their progress and I couldn’t believe those were my babies. When the babies came back you could already see the difference in how they were acting. They were listening and remaining calm and knew right from wrong. Every session felt like we were climbing up the mountain of success, it was so amazing to see how my babies were responding to the commands and also fixing themselves without my help. Anytime I go anywhere with the pups and someone mentions how good my babies are, I ALWAYS mention Sarai & George, they are the BEST of the best. I couldn’t imagine where my babies and I would be without them. Sarai and George take into account your life and what goals you want to have for your furbaby. They want to make sure any problems and struggles that were had before are gone. They also really love these animals. Seeing Zeus and Luna with their wiggle butts whenever they see George and Sarai is the funniest and cutest thing. My babies love them and get more excited to see them than me. I truly would’ve never went with anyone else. All of my future pups are going to know Sarai and George. I truly owe them so much.
