Doodles need regular grooming. If they don't get regular grooming, the hair will mat and can cause problems for the dog. Having the dog groomed every 6-12 weeks is optimal. Regular brushing between grooming sessions will make for a happy groomer. One thing I always try to tell my clients is that Poodles and Poodle mixes need their ears plucked and cleaned when they get groomed....

UPDATE: He found a loving home.

Due to no fault of his own, 6 month old Harley is looking for a loving home. He is a F1B Labradoodle and was born from our Labradoodle female, Sis.
Harley is sweet, loving, playful, energetic, and adorable. He is house and crate trained and knows how to sit. He is up to date on shots and microchipped. He currently weighs about 35 pounds and is still growing.

Another question that I constantly get asked is, "Are they non-shedding?" When I bought our first doodle, Gypsy, I was told by the breeder that she would be non-shedding. Due to my inexperience, I believed them. She was a F1 Labradoodle and had a wire coat. She shed like a lab!! We would find little Gypsy dust bunnies in every corner....

I often get the question, "Are your puppies hypoallergenic?" Well, the answer is yes and no. Everyone's allergies are different. I have encountered people who had allergies to dogs and did not react at all to an F1. Some react to an F1 but do better with curls. For some people, they aren't allergic to dander or hair at all and are actually allergic to the dog's saliva....
