Guinness
The sweet boy is also a long time resident here at the shelter. We have loved every minute he’s been here but he needs out! Guinness is an odd duck in more than one way. He loves playing with toys but only by himself, he isn’t super treat motivated, but he is very smart. We think he is some type of collie mix. He’s a very unique pup since he has a scar on his forehead we do not know where it came from. He has had it since he arrived. It just makes him more special! He seems to do fine with neutered males and any female dogs. With training he could also do well with in neutered males. He has come a very long way here in terms of being socialized with others. We are hoping to get this sweet boy out of here ASAP! If you are looking for a farm dog, a couch potato, or even a pup you could train for anything your heart desires. He does seem to have some heeler characteristics with some of the behaviors he has exhibited. Come in and meet this sweet boy and get him out of here! He has been here way too long!
This is Moo Cow! Have you ever wanted a cat that is already harness trained Moo Cow is your man! He is a very friendly kitty and needs a new home. He needs a slow introduction if you have other cats and he doesn’t like dogs. Come in and meet this sweet boy! He will be a great adventure buddy!
Ranger
Who doesn’t want an easily trainable, friendly, smart, and cuddly best friend?!? If that checks some of your boxes than come take a look at Ranger! He is a Border Collie and so incredibly smart. He learns fast and aims to please. He would be the perfect pup for someone who’s looking to shape a dog into a well trained canine companion. We’ve learned he isn’t super interested in toys but he is incredibly treat motivated. He’s done well not to have accidents in his kennel so potty training is already started. He just needs a home and someone to love. Come meet this adorable boy!
Trinity
This is Trinity, if you are looking for small/medium dog she is your gal. Since she’s been here we’ve noticed she has a lot of energy and love to give. She is a little nervous at first but just give her a second and she will wiggle her way into your heart. We believe that she is full grown 9months to a year old. She’s very sweet and quick to learn. She would be a great companion if you only had a smaller amount of space. Or even if you had a huge yard she surely wouldn’t complain. Come in and meet this sweet girl!
This is Apollo! He is one of the sweetest pups you will ever meet. Since he has been here we’ve learned a couple things. 1- the boy loves to play fetch (like it’s his obsession) 2- he prefers to be with his humans than to be alone 3- even tho he is on the older side you wouldn’t be able to tell he has tons of energy and life to give. Come in and meet this sweet boy and let’s get him a loving family!!!
This weeks spotlight! This is Obsidian. He is, to our best guess, a flat coated retriever mix of some kind. He is incredibly smart, this boy can learn so quick! Come in and meet him!
This is Captain a certified good boy. He is one of our fastest learners here at the shelter. We’ve worked on some basic commands with him, leash training, and place. He’s incredibly smart and may even have the inclination to be good with cats given the proper introduction. Come in and meet this amazing pup!
Benji
