Please read to the end so you know everything (hopefully) that you need to know about us in order to make the best choice for your pet. My husband and I have grown up with dogs of all sizes and breeds. We are 100% dog people and don't hold judgments against any breed. Since being married in 2013 we have always had two or more fur babies in our little family. Our kids have been raised alongside our

pups and do fantastic with every size and temperament of dog. I’ve been working with Rover since October 2018 and have gotten to meet some wonderful people and pups along the way! My main option on here is overnight dog boarding but I also offer doggy day care and a grooming add-on. We have a good sized backyard that is fenced so we can go out to play without fear of anyone getting out on the road. Most of our yard is just dirt for now which makes it fun for both the kids and the dogs. Our dogs love to roll in the dirt and have the bad habit of digging sometimes, so if your dog digs it won’t be an issue with us. Our little Lobo is super friendly and loving, but he is also a reactive dog who comes off aggressive at first. AKA: Little Dog Syndrome. We also have hardwood floors so a potty accident here or there won't be a problem and will be corrected as you direct in order to have familiar training when they are here or with you. We LOVE dogs! We get such a kick out of seeing the different quirks and personalities of each that we meet. We also love the fact that it provides great opportunities for socialization that some dogs don’t get enough of. My husband works during the day, but I am home 90% of the time. I only leave for quick errands or to pick my kids up from school. The entire time I am home the dogs get to be out to play, relax, or just explore the house. We have hourly potty breaks, and in nice weather we spend time outside together to explore and play. In the evening my husband is home to help care and love on your furry friend. In the past, there has been some confusion on the "free-roaming" policy for our house. (The following applies to my own dogs as well.) Clarification: Other than for bedtime or if I'm out of the house, the only time your furry friend will be crated or baby-gated is for feedings and ~15mins before I expect a client to be arriving for drop off/pick up. Feeding time is so there is less chance of dogs eating food not for them. Eating a brand they are not accustomed to will upset their digestion and that's no fun for anyone. Dogs can also be protective of their food when in a new environment. We don't want any disputes when they can easily be avoided. They are never crated for more than 30mins so that everyone has time to eat their food. For drop off/pick up times the front door will be opened obviously and I don't want anyone to sneak out while we are transferring items/pets in and out. The speed limit is 45mph in front of our house but you rarely have people actually obeying that here. We are a direct line to the St. Anthony Sand Dunes which brings a lot of tourist traffic. My front yard is not fully fenced and I would be devastated if someone's family member got out on the road and the worst were to happen. They are immediately let out once the client has left and we have properly introduced any newcomers. You will sometimes see dogs out in the backyard when transfers occur. Unless my husband is home and in the backyard, the only dogs that will be in the back yard for these times are our personal pets. This happens when I have a full house and have had to use their normal crate/gated areas for the other client dogs while the front door may be open. We love having you bring their favorite toys or other items to make them feel more comfortable and safe in a new environment, but if you choose not to include such items we have tons of toys to spare! We also love to make homemade dog treats from time to time. Please let us know of any diet restrictions beforehand so we can keep your dog happy and healthy! Will your furry friend’s birthday/adoption anniversary be occurring over their stay with us? Please let us know so we can celebrate with them! I am a stay at home mom so my only time out of the house is for errands and rare social outings. The rest of that time is given to my kids, furry and non alike! Update: I have recently taken on a seasonal job (for the spooky season that is), so my afternoons/evenings may be a little hectic. This will not stop me from dedicating my free time and all my energy to the proper care, safety, and happiness of your pets. NOTE: Profits made from this business goes to help the non-profit Rabbit Sanctuary I own and run. 💗🐰

Rabbits? You will notice I have a pet listed on my profile as "bunnies". This was easier than listing each individual bunny. The majority of the rabbits we take in are typically kept in our outdoor sanctuary, separate from the yard, but we do still foster some indoors when needed. This means they live inside like a dog or a cat would; they even use a litter box! I also want to inform you that I do have personal house rabbits. They remain in their pen while we have guests (furry or otherwise). My personal rabbits are all fixed, but fosters may not be. I say this because rabbits have a musky smell prior to being fixed that you may notice when visiting our home. I also clean out the litter boxes on our front porch so that I, along with the garbage, stay out of the weather until it can be carted over to the dumpster we share with my in-laws who live next door. I do apologize if the site of the garbage is apparent when you visit our home, but it's just how we do things. If it is nice out and the dumpster is not filled to capacity then you will not see any garbage. You may see some storage items on the porch from the toys and yard accessories depending on the time of year though. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to talk to me. I want the best for you and your furry friend, even if that is not with us. Be Advised: your booking cost may be adjusted based on if your dog…
- Does not have a personal crate to use upon drop-off. (+$15/dog)
- Is a female in heat we will need to keep separated from our intact schnauzer. (+$10/day)
- Is in need of an unscheduled bath in order to comfortably lounge about the house with the rest of us. (+$15/bath)
- Is described as "potty trained" but has more than one accident in the home during their stay. (+$15)
- Is described as "not a chewer" but destroys items not meant for dogs. (+$10/day)
- Decides to destroy (scratch, chew, rip, break, etc) parts of our house and/or personal crates/gates used for mandatory separation times as discussed above. (+$20 or more depending on severity of damage)

Each of these revisions will need to be accepted and paid for by you at the time of incident in order to take effect. Failure to do so will result in your booking to be reprioritized as a kennel boarding rather than an in-home stay as a part of our family. Thank you for understanding. My hours for pick-up and/or drop-off is from 8am - 8pm (Summer hours: 7am-10pm). You will be required to put in times for pick-up/drop-off. If pick-up time is over 2-8hrs later than drop-off time, an additional 50% of a one night stay will be added. If pick-up time is over 8 hrs later than drop-off time, an additional 100% of a one night stay will be added. The time difference between drop-off and pick-up will be calculated using the end of the time range for drop off and the beginning of the time range for pick up. I have a Seven Day Cancellation policy which means all clients get a full refund if they cancel by NOON, ONE WEEK BEFORE the stay starts. After that, they get a 50% refund on the first 7 cancelled days and 100% refund on any days after that. What I would like to know about your pet...
Any special needs such as training you are working on with them (potty training, sit, stay, lay down, roll over, etc.) Are they fixed? Do they have special food or treats (what is okay and what's not)? Do they get along with children and other dogs?
