Accomplished, seasoned, professional horse trainer with 40 years experience in all phases of horse training and showing from start to finish. Specialized in reined cow horses, but concentrated on establishing a well rounded SOLID FOUNDATION for multiple performance horse disciplines, such as reining, cow horses, barrel racing, ranch stock horses, ro
ping, rodeo, trail horses, and just your all around horse in general. The correct foundation is vital to equip any horse with in order to succeed in whatever direction they are taken. I spent my foundational years learning under the direction of some of the best and most renowned trainers of my time. Those being Bobby Avila, Smokey Pritchett, Skip Brown and Bobby Ingersol and Dave Pecora. I went on to show and place in multiple cowhorse futurities, such as the NRCHA Snaffle Bit Futurity in Reno, Nevada, multiple times, Freso, CA, Red Bluff, CA, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana Reined Cowhorse Futurities, The Cowhorse Olympics in Medford, Oregon, as well as, AQHA shows, ropings and rodeos throughout my life. Over the years I have diversified my focus from specifically training reined cowhorses and use my expertise to proficiently train, prepare, adjust and improve each horse by cultivating their skill and individual given vocation from beginning, middle and end. Additionally, the even more profound and satisfying accomplishments I have achieved, has been sharing my experiences, wisdom and knowledge with other people, through clinics, individual lessons and internships in order to progress and enhance their horsemanship; enabling them to pursue their individual desired goals and aspirations for themselves and their horses.
